Precise Placement of Thumbtack Temporary Map Marker

While the Thumbtack map marker is fairly handy on its own, I would like to see a slash command to add the marker to my map using precise coordinates. Something like "/thumbtack -448 42 2170" (using the coordinates for the Regal exploration badge out in Boomtown as an example). Perhaps a /thumbtack_clear to go with it to remove the thumbtack from the map.
