Got it fixed, once. I ran through all the troubleshooting options this morning, exceptions to Windows Defender, the works, but nothing really helped. The only thing that finally got the game running was to turn on Compatiblity Mode, and enable Windows 7 compatibility. After changing some of the graphics options (mostly, switching to a higher resolution), I exited and wanted to restart, at which point it crashed again. Now, we're back to immediate crash on startup. I'll keep looking, but any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I've only recenlty found out about this project and wanted very badly to try it out. I've just finished downloading Tequila, and running it, following the installation guide on the forums. Everything seemed to be going OK (no need for admin on Tequila or anything), but as soon as I hit the play button, the game client crashes. Not tequila, since I get the old "City of Heroes has stopped working" error message. I checked the windows event log, but it doesn't have much more information, or at least, not that I can make sense of: I'm running Windows 10 with all the latest updates, no virus scanner, on my gaming laptop (an ASUS rog zephyrus gx501vi-gz021t), 16 gb ram, Nvidia GTX 1080 MaxQ. Anyone a clue as to what's going on? Any further information or logs I can provide? Thanks for your help.
