Thanks! 🙂

The collar is part of a sleeveless jacket - gunslinger or steampunk, IIRC. The flair part that sticks up is one of the head details, (Imperial Dynasty, IIRC).

What bottom part is this that has the bow and the long "butt cape?" lol

I'm aware that glace is ice in French. However, cannon isn't a word in French (it would be canon, not cannon), so it's kind of a forced expression.
I do get the in-joke, but as I say, it's kind of forced... at least in my view.
(on the other hand, I love his civilian name!)
Hahaha. Yeah. I don't believe you for a second. You were teeing off on me TELLING me what I wanted. And then went on to tell me that I had to "settle."
It's not meant to be "Glass Cannon" like you claimed because you don't know french. XD

gla·cé
/ɡlaˈsā/
adjective
1.
(of fruit) having a glossy surface due to preservation in sugar.
"a glacé cherry"
2.
(of cloth or leather) smooth and highly polished.
verb
glaze with a thin sugar-based coating.
"glacéed cape gooseberries"
You were saying?
(La) Glace is literally "ice" en francais. And the character is a French-Canadian glaciologist named Xavier Lemieux (Mario Lemieux was my favourite hockey player)

See... I don't think of it as much of a victory if you've settled for an obvious misspelling or a ludicrous or silly name when you clearly wanted something else. Glace Cannon was obviously meant to be Glass Cannon... but you couldn't have that, and were forced to settle for something else. It would be no different than me accepting Canadian Sheeld, when it's clearly not what I wanted it to be.
I've never seen any convincing argument why they shouldn't do the @handle thing, as I suggested.
I found the guy that doesn't know French and that makes your entire post both hilarious and kind of sad. 🤣🤣🤣

Glace Cannon for my Ice/Ice/Ice blaster. Might be my favourite name ever.

i don’t think it needs a buff, put the confuse proc in the ST confuse and that helps spread it around
there’s enough other mez powers in the set to choose from if mass confusion is recharging
How is this reconciled with Seeds of Confusion being better than the T9?
-
Darn. That's too bad. Funny that a game with such a robust character creator essentially forces one to forego that creativity and play an ugly squid lest be gimped.
-
New player to Kheldians here. I was wondering if there is a way to switch to Nova/Dwarf form and retain the "human" look of the character?

There's been no specific mention of a buff, but I agree with you Mind Control deserves one.
Appreciated. It's also nice knowing that I'm not the only one hoping for it!

Hi there,
Are there any buffs coming to Mass Confusion (maybe relating to the Cool Down being lowered?). I'm not sure how it can be justified as a top tier power when Seeds of Confusion is a thing.
My Mind/Psi dom is my favorite character ever. I played him YEARS before CoH came out in a pencil and paper RPG and was delighted to be able to make him in a video game setting. However Mind/ has always gnawed at me because of the excessively long recharge on Mass Confusion. This has been made even more apparent with Seeds in the game.
Cheers!

Hi there. I am looking at making a human-only PB and your build looks great. I was wondering what you'd slot into:
Incandescent Strike
Solar Flare
Dawn Strike
In the mean time while I'm building up INF to afford the sets (Superior Essence Transfer, Superior Avalanche, Superior Kheldian's Grace.

Also, if you’re slotting Energy Blasts single targets with a proc, consider slotting the +100 recharge proc.
With those procs slotted, you can have your Nova up sub 30 seconds. Then you’re doing Nova Damage in the 1200 Range twice as often as other sets even with the KB to KD in Nova.
There is a lot you can do with pretty much all the sets in this game. Energy isn’t the flavour of the month right now. But you can build it to be better than most if you put in the time.
This is the first I'm hearing of a +100 recharge proc. What set is that in? Sounds awesome. I love having my nukes up fast.

Hi all,
I have never played a scrapper before and I have a few questions.
I have a character concept that is pretty near and dear to my heart (a characters that I have had for like 20+ years going back to the pencil and paper game GURPS Supers). I have rolled him as a mind/psy dominator and its cool, but I want to try going in another direction.
I'm considering rolling him up as a scrapper or a brute. I get that brutes typically have higher survivability and maybe a more constant flow of damage, but scrappers have a higher damage ceiling (please correct me if I'm wrong about this).
I was going to go with Psy/something. I'm not too sure of what secondary to take. I was thinking WP, Inv (mostly because they aren't too graphic) or perhaps EA (I could role play the energy aura as a psychic shield). I don't want to take something like Ice, Stone or Bio due to the graphics not really going with my concept.
Is Psy a pretty decent primary?
What would a Psy/something have over a brute of the same build?
What secondary would pair well with Psy?
Ty in advance!
