[Code of Conduct Update - September 25th 2019]

So I don’t have any characters that are blatant trademarked/copyrighted ripoffs as far as I am aware. 

 

I do have an inv/ss tank, that, has various costumes.  All original.  However, one of my costumes is predominantly blue, with a red cape boots, gloves and a letter that represents his name (M) which is a feature on all his costumes.  It is not intended to be a parody or copy of a flagship DC character, but if you squint and turn your head sideways you would be forgiven for thinking it was the man of steel himself.  The crux is, I like the costume pieces in the colours and pattern I’ve chosen, and it fits with my head canon of the character trying to brighten up his image where his original and primary look is the same costume pieces but in Black and White.

 

How does this affect me and mine with regards to my original creation that could, by some, be taken as a copy.

The donations open in the middle of the night here (Europe).  Is there a way to know when it's going to open so I can arrange to be around to donate?

 

I too would like to donate. I was waiting to do so :P

 

Any chance the next round could be a little more europe timezone friendly?  Just feel like im freeloading here and  want to give something.

I think there's more people playing heroes because I'm an optimist and think most people are good at heart.

 

I believe nothing of the sort.

 

If you really do, and aren't just blowing hot air (you know where), you're likely to be a victim.

 

At least this game seems to inspire courteous behavior in players more than not. I'm sure, however, it's a response to the mechanics and design on some level, accounting for the disparity with more twitchy and competitive MMOs. Ditto for why players choose blueside over red. I mean, you'll even find people mostly behaving the same on that 4chan server, despite a few edgelords spamming garbage for the Lulz.

I believe he means the queue systems found in WoW, SWTOR, DCUO, and other MMOs.

 

And the answer to the original fella is: No.

Have you not clicked that LFG tab? Sure, if you're just a low-level scrub you'll only See Drowning In Blood there, or maybe one other trial if there's a holiday event running, but it is a queue that you can just join and get added to a team for the Trial if you want. You could also gather a team, or even a League, and then join the queue, but you don't have to.

 

 

Yes.... But also kinda...  It exists,  but isn't very good...

 

The LFG finder doesn't always grab a full group if you queue solo..  It'll often go with the minimum and for much of the game content, is not enough folk to complete the mission.

 

I've tried it a couple of times and it often sticks me and one other unfortunate soul into an un-winnable situation.  (I never used it back when the game was live, only on homecoming)

 

Best bet is to join or start a team to take on the contect you want. - Old fashoned, but its going to work better everytime.

Ok i just read in a thread from gm jimmy...the cost of the servers is like $4700 a month!!! if no donations...or anything HOW is this being tended to O_o i mean...we can expect the gm's to pay this outta there pocket..that would be obscene!...if we cant donate...or even pay how will you guys support this?

Stop worrying about the cost.  When the folk currently financing the effort ask for help they will get it in whatever form.  I believe personal gifting is the way forward but we will see what happens in the future.  For now, just enjoy the game
