Which aura are you using for the frost dragon head/mouth area, out of interest? Looks like it does a better job of hiding the spectrum face beneath than the bioplasma eyes aura I was using.

Alphawulf – mercenaries/kinetics MM Backstory: Alphacorp has been a controversial name in private military contracting for over a decade due to their envelope-pushing augmented soldier programs. Cybernetics, genetic modification, psionics – there’s little they haven’t tried. Their latest program sought to capture a Lycanthrope in the hopes of unlocking new ways of achieving increased speed and strength as well as heightened senses. Unfortunately, the mission went sideways and had to be aborted. One merc was left in critical condition, and lost both arms – an event some in the cybernetics division saw as an opportunity. Despite initial doubts as to whether his body would be able to handle such an invasive integration of cybernetic augmentations, the researchers were surprised by his remarkable recovery and tolerance of the implants (which completely replaced both arms, as well as much of his torso). It would soon transpire that his survival and rapid healing was attributable to the Lycanthropy virus which was busy transforming what remained of his body. Thus a super-soldier was inadvertently created, codenamed “Alphawulf”, and a program was devised in which other hopeful mercenaries would train under Alphawulf, and after proving themselves, be inducted into the bloodline.

I leveled a tanker to lvl 12 so I could try making costumes with full bio armour to see if I could find a combo I liked (I wish power toggles were an option in the character creator/tailor menu). This is what I came up with: Azreus. Inspired by a line from the 1995 movie "Prophecy": "Did you ever notice how in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like?"

Continuing the theme of using the imperial dynasty helmet as a monster face - this is my best attempt (of many!) at making a dragon character: Drakkenfyre, a Fiery melee/shield brute. I can't seem to take screenshots from the character creator, and aren't high enough level to use "Breath of fire" in-game yet, but the animation lines up really well to the "mouth", so he will be a fire-breathing dragon at some point.

Thank you! I agree, the exposed neck really bothered me too. It is as Shocktacular said the heavy neck chain shoulder option - my first character to use this "face" was a chainmail/black knight armour-wearing dragon, so the chain made more sense, but the chain doesn't look too out of place on the gargoyle either. And as Glacier Peak said, I used the omega jaw detail to close off the bottom jaw of the helmet. You can still see the neck "seam" and the underlying red "spectrum" face glow from certain angles, but it's a vast improvement with the neck chain (I've only tested this on the muscular body type). FYI for the spectrum face and bioplasma eye aura, only certain colours match such that you can't actually see the eyes, but only what exudes from them. Happily that particular shade of red is one such colour combo. I'll attatch the costume file to my original post when I get home later!

I just wanted to say I've had a blast looking through some of the costumes on this thread. I feel like this is a new type of art-form, creating such awe-inspiring costumes from a limitted set of tools. I can't get enough of it - this game is obviously something special, but I have 60 characters and the highest level one is lvl 18 - most are 4 to 10 range. I Just love the character creator so much that I don't' tend to get far before wanting to make something new. Anyway, this is the latest creation I'm proud of - "Gaurdgoyle". Savage melee/dark armour brute. I really wanted to find a way to make that imperial helmet look like the face instead of a helmet, had some decent results with a dragon character, but the gargoyle worked out better. Some of the dark armour toggles help blend the costume together where colours might otherwise not match perfectly. Definitely one that looks better in-game than in the character creator screen.
