Remember Perez Park street sweeping teams. Those were good times.
Those were the days when the game first came out. Full groups of 8 left and right running down the streets defeating every bad guy in their path........

Hi everyone. I see we can now customize our prestige sprint powers. I can change the colors but how do I get those cool sprints like the fire trail or ice trail I see in the example picks online.

I just found all my CoH comics while doing isolation house cleaning. I had totally forgotten about them.

I would really like to see an improved enemy AI system as I still can't stand the current one. It is super annoying to see a group of bad guys and they do nothing till you are standing right next to them. I also dislike how you can start attacking a mob and another mob right next you just stands there like nothing is going on.

Roll a dual pistol blaster with martial combat for some true action hero styled fun. Nothing better then sending a baddie flying with a kick only to shoot them as they fly thru the air.

Oh, my goodness! EVERY time I see the "Thunderstrike" recipe/badge/whatever, this obscure song starts playing in my head!?!?! No, I'm *not* exaggerating!

How dare thee reference thy mighty AC/DC as obscure. They rule the lands of rock and roll.

I too would love a quick way to both lock the position of the power trays as well as another to lock the powers in the trays. I have a setup that means I almost never now move the trays, so I don't want to drag them, but I often swap which tray I show and even reposition powers in a tray and between trays, looking to improve that or substitute alternates.
I display 6 trays in the lower left of my display, 3 addons on the bottom stacked on top of each other, with the default 3 trays above them. It's compact and it works.
Trays 1 through 3 are the powers I use via 1 through 0, Alt-1 through Alt-0, and Ctrl-1 through Ctrl-0. Tray 6 and the start of Tray 8 mostly have whatever running toggle powers I have. Start of Tray 4 has click location powers I normally activate through keybinds to see their recharge status. For the hidden ones, Tray 9 contains my tab targetting macros, active ones in slots 0 and 9, Trays 5 and 7 contain extra powers I may swap in, as well as what I use with Kheldian form change macros to swap the main tray, currently show #1 here (Kheldian form change macros normally sit in Tray 2).
(As well, I keybind ("powexectray") Tray 3 slots 9 and 0 to fire off my cloaking and shield toggle turnon macros as well as Tray 6 slots 8, 9, and 0 to fire off travel and other powers.)
I have never needed more than 3 rows. I am amazed you can even play the game with that much of your screen cluttered up like that.

Agreed. I am constantly posting stuff to sell only to see it has been selling for higher values than what I listed it at. For example I had a purple recipe drop and when I listed it their was no history no matter what bid I placed so I listed it for 20 million and it sold for 15 and then the history finally pops up and says the last few sales were in the 50 million range.

I am currently rolling a dual pistols/archery blaster who can take on anything but an AV solo. I grabbed assault, maneuvers, and tactics from the leadership power pool and combined with the holds I get from archery and the secondary damage from change ammo type power I pretty much blow through anything. Just last night on a radio mission team I got attacked by a group hiding in a room no one else on the team saw. They were all over me but with some careful back tracking and slowly taking my shots I got them all and never went below 50% on my health. I also slotted end reductions into everything so my end never goes below 1/4 even blowing through my entire attack chain. This is by far the most fun and best surviving blaster build I have created so far.

I felt the exact same way in Jan 2020 when I found out. Welcome back as well.

I use Sands of Mu on all my toons. It is not powerful at higher levels but it is still fun as heck to watch it hit multiple targets and rattle those damage numbers off. I also thinks it fits in nicely with all my attacks chains as well.

How do you transfer to another server ???? I have not seen that feature and would love to move to a more populated server because Indom can be rather slow compared to the other servers.

I have no cure as I make a new alt at least once a week due to the same reasons

I would like to know why some of the rare invention salvage pieces are selling for so much when so many are ready to purchase. I cannot remember the specific ones but there are quite a few pieces I need where the price is 500,000 or higher and there are plenty for sale with hardly any demand while I can now buy a Luck Charm for 250 when they were super expensive back in the day. What has changed with the supply and demand in the market as I now cannot afford the IO sets I used to use because of these extra high salvage prices.

I built my own gaming PC for half the price of a pre-built one. Super easy and super fun.

I do the following...........make hero, skip tutorial, join a few DFB's, head to Hollow's to do the Frostfire arc, snag radio, call contacts, do story arcs and missions, join teams. I just found out about the game coming back so i have not hit any of the TF's yet because I can't get a hero passed lvl 12 or 13 cause I am having to much fun playing them all.

September 2004
Energy/Energy Blaster. Because that was my first Champions character from way back in... 1984... So 20 years after her creation, she lived again in CoH. I street swept in Atlas to about level 5, then joined a street sweeping team in Perez. Ended up getting lost in the park with no way out. Pre vidiot maps and definitely pre any kind of teleporter. I ended up finding a hole in the trees and hovering out. This was pre speed buff Hover. When it was bad. That was when L14 and a travel power was a major milesone. But not as major as Stamina at 20...
And in 2019, 35 years after her creation, and 15 years after she first walked into Paragon City, Catherine Voss (Originally 'Powerbolt', but 'Voss' in CoH because the name was taken, then changed to 'Powerslinger' when name changes happened, then I snagged the name 'Powerbolt' on Excelsior with Homecoming) stalks the streets again.
I remember getting lost in their on my first day as well with my fire/fire blaster. I had to do the hover thing as well. Good times.

I feel like a noob for asking this but how do you send a tell to someone in game when they are looking for more team members ??? I cannot remember how to do it at all so I currently reply in broadcast hoping they see my reply and send me the invite. A list of all those commands would be nice. Thanks.

Holy Crap I can't believe CoH is back. I just found this out and I am going thru the download and hope to be back remaking all my heroes. I hope I see some familiar names from the Freedom server running around as well. Thanks to everyone who made this happen. It makes for a Happy New Year for this guy.

Looking for Big Game from Freedom

Hello. Looking for an old friend who went by the name Big Game on Freedom. It would be nice to team up with him again like the old days.
