It was the risk that made the Hollows fun.  And being able to finally go in and solo that area back in the day was the test of ... hero-hood.

[What I miss]

Are there things in the game that have changed that you miss?

 

I know it has been said in other threads, but I need to say it again. For me, I miss Galaxy City.  Nearly every character I ever made started in GC.  I recall (barely, because I am old) heading into the storage area and fighting clockworks early on, and often getting it handed to me by a tesla.

 

It was one of the things I was really looking forward to when homecoming came online. I deeply miss my time in my CoH home.

[I don't get why this is so much better than CO]

For me it was the villain groups.

 

In CoH the adversaries felt like they had been refined over a long period of time. They had depth and I felt like they had an impact on the world.

 

In CO, the villain groups felt flat and uninspired. It was like they patched them together over a week or two and threw them into the world.

[What is your most fondest or favorite memory of COH?]

Early in Beta.

 

I don't recall ever being so excited to test out a game in its early stages. We had started up a SG in the game forums and handful of us got in at the same time and started running at every opportunity. Even at that stage the game exceeded our expectations.

 

For most of us on that team, it was love at first play.

I had almost forgotten how much I missed this game.

 

They simply do not make games like this anymore. Nothing else can match it.
