Going to throw in plant/earth and dark/ice. Anything plant/ is good and strong. But dark/ice seems to mesh together really well. My dark/ice is only in the 20s. I’m trying to farm some inf for him. But the control and play style is really fun if you like up close and personal.

Just started one of these tonight. How’s your build working? Any discoveries?

Well first off thanks for all the comments and advice. I didn't realize that this would kind of open a can of warms. My defender is in the 40s now still can't solo for crap, but seems to excel in a team, which isn't a bad thing (being a Defender). I will be rereading this forum for the builds and all the write ups. I can understand that my build will already need some redoing after reading this. If you guys want to continue discussing please feel free. I'm sure someone else will also find it as helpful as I did. Now back to the top to read more.

So, I need some help. I wanted to make a TA/Arch toon, but after reading the Def and Cor forums has me a little worried that I'll basically just be useless baggage all the time. They all seem to say the same thing, make a Blaster. I would rather be more of a DEbuffer/ Support type, but I would also like the be useful and bring stuff to a team. Is the DEF/Cor "unplayable" or "useless?" Do they get better later on?If I'm just wasting my time with them can the Blaster be built to throw out some useful de-buffs and support a little while doing a lot of damage? Cause the Blaster forums seem to love the sets they have. I don't really care to Min/Max perfectly, but I do want to enhance the team and not just be carried threw everything. I have a 28 Def right now and can't solo at all. I keep dieing constantly with the lowest setting, and it is frustrating. I solo more on the off hours cause of my time zone, but at night its all teaming when everyone wakes up (lol that sounds funny). Need some help and advice. I still don't have a lvl 50, I have a few Lvl 45 AT's and even more in the 30's, but nothing I have stuck with. I don't know anything about procs, or Mid/Maxing builds or anything like that. I basically been reading and reading trying to figure it out or stealing builds to get by. P.S. I know my English isn't great please be nice.

Hey Coyote, Thanks, for the advice much appreciated. This was just a quick cheap lvling build for me to stay range till i learn not to die so much and try to use pets to tank when soloing. I'll defiantly take the advice tho for sure.

Thanks for the honest advice. I paired them just cause I wanted to try a Ice character, no other reason really. I respec today and he's now at level 29. He seemed fun and I didn't feel like I was lacking damage. I think finding a build to follow on the forums and respec'ing helped. I have a earth/dark controller (lvl 32). He's seems super strong and fun,but I was looking to play a Corrupter to do more damage/support then just controlling.

Hello,everyone! So, I have major problem making alts. I really need to find one an stick with it at lease to see what the end game content is like. For some reason I keep coming back to my Ice/Kin Corruptor. I really like contributing to the team,but I feel like all I due is buff. I feel that I just use my rain then buff,buff buff, and then maybe heal. It gets kind of boring. So, what I ask is 1: Is this how Kins play? 2: How should I be playing and what is the priority? I'm only in the mid 20's right now and I'm wondering this b/c i'll only be getting more buffs as I level and I feel like I'll never actually use my primary abilities. Just looking for advice on how and when I should be using Siphon Speed/power, Increase Density/Speed Boost, an then Tranference. I feel that SB/ID don last long and I have to reapply constantly. An with Siphon S/P should I be worried about stacking power and using these for every fight? When a team is moving at a decent speed all I'm doing is trying to keep up as a buff bot. Am I thinking of this the wrong way? Or maybe (what im thinking) am I playing this character wrong? What is expected of me exactly? I just feel that if I wanted to play this way I should make a KIN/ def so at lease i feel that I'll be using my primary as a primary. Sorry, for so many questions but I really want to learn how to play this AT correctly before I just give up.

Thanks, for all the help and advice everyone. Really appreciate it. I think I’ll try the advice given and see if I can get some teams. It might help more once I get out of atlas park like some of you said. If it still seems empty it might be a time zone issue and then I’ll just look into the servers you all suggested. Glad to here there still a community. I really like this game and having a lot of fun making. If you guys have or know any active SG let me know. I think joining a good one can probably really enhance the game.

So, I just started playing yesterday I just picked a server and jumped in. I think I’m on blue side of everlasting. After playing a few hours I noticed that atlas park is pretty empty and no One is grouping or teaming sub level 30. At lease that’s what I got from the chat. I asked about super groups and tried to talk to the few I saw running by. No one really payed any attention or responded. I’m looking for a good community and trying to make some friend to level/play with. Dose it get better at higher levels? Should I switch servers? I’m located in Germany, but only speak English so the EU server didn’t look promising. Any suggestions? Or is the game kind of dieing out again?
