How long do patch updates usually take? Mine is going very slowly and looks like it will take all day so just wondering if that is normal or just my old laptop. Thanks!

That explains it. I was hoping it was because I'm lvl 20 and not enhanced yet. X_X I lusted after fire storms on live so had to try on HC.

I feel like I remember seeing more backstories on live. I get so excited to see even just a few sentences typed. I feel like they're an important part of a superhero game.

That said, Mender Ramiel's Arc (ouroborus) still exists, and is a nice intro storyline to it. It USED to be required to unlock your Alpha slot. It's not required anymore, although it will unlock it right away whether or not you earned enough XP to get it otherwise.

There's TONS of info in that. You will NOT absorb it all at once. But it's a very good read, and worth coming back to a few times as you get your feet wet.
About how many veteran levels does that route take? On my main I did Ramiel's arc but my alt I'll just slowly unlock with xp. The arc I couldn't solo and no one ever seems to do the arc in LFG.

My main tends to be the first character I make. I just really make my first choice of power sets something I'll really enjoy and a character concept I resonate with. On live I think my main changed 3 times since I played before endgame content really existed and my play style and AT preference changed. My current main gets badges and all the first experiences on Homecoming.
