Hi heroes (and Villains... and Rogues...)! The only other incarnates I have are Brutes, but I'm getting close to my first 50 on a blaster... and I have a question about the Alpha slot. He's energy/energy/force; primarily a distance hover blaster (softcapped on ranged def) that swoops in for nova goodness as needed. Energize is 6-slotted with Numina and endurance isn't really and issue except when I get blindsided by a Sapper. Obviously, I want more damage because... Blaster. But it seems to me that if I go Musculature as my alpha, I'm leaving a lot off the table since none of the secondary or tertiary effects are really that helpful for me. Whereas, with other Alphas - Vigor or Nerve (for +Def) for example - I get more bang for my buck. Am I overthinking this? Should I just go for max damage and call it a day?
