Thanks for the build Erratic1. I really appreciate your help. I like the defense stats it's a really good start to what I was looking for. 

 

I'm new to this Brute/Tank thing. I played Controller/Mastermind back in retail so coming back to COH now I wanted to try something new.

So having said that I have a couple extra questions:

1) Is having a taunt important for a Brute, especially if your playing with a group?

2) Should I try for a healing power to offset the lack of one in Shield Defense?

3) Is Perma-Hasten really that important for a tank or is that just a quality of life thing?

 

To everyone else who has replied to this post I really appreciate the inputs, anything, even criticism can be helpful for someone who has no idea what they are looking at. For instance I had no idea there was a AOE change to Tanks, so again thank you.

So I'm not sure if this power set is viable at end game but it seemed like a fun set to try out. I'm also not really sure what I'm looking for in a build, maybe something close to soft cap defense? But I'm open to any advice and help that you guys can provide. Thanks!
