I think of it as 2 for all and 1 hero TF. Blue side has a lot more TF's than red side has SF's. The coop TF's are used to fill the gaps.

Has Aeon been added to the rotation yet?

you may not want to do incarnate runs or heroside runs, this is the first time that I can recall that there has been no villain side weekly SF and it sucks

Wait. So we have access to the remodeled Rikti Chief Soldier as well? From the OP, it seemed like the only post-redesign Rikti we'd be able to unlock is the Mentalist.

Is this under the Standard Tier for 10/15 of the new currency or is it just a stand-in for the classic look that costs 150/300?

You seem confused, this is the old, removed one as shown in the tier 2 preview

*edit* Or is it? Looks different on the feet, will have to go look, could be mistaken

  3. AE was a terrible addition to the game and has been abused since its inception, its not a storytelling device as it should be its just a farming tool which Im pretty sure was never the intent of any of the developers.

I personally think it should be used as a gateway to the creation of mainstream content, If its a good enough arc pull it off AE and plug it into the wider game but thats neither here or there, these changes expand on the system which should be heralded as a good thing but people are complaining because mindless farming wont be as profitable.

For those unaware, the run animation used in Parkour/Blitz stance is from the unreleased Freerunning power from the unimplemented Utility Belt Origin Pool. So it existed in the game's files, just unused before we attached it something.

What this means is, unfortunately, we don't have the source files for the animation and it cannot be edited/adjusted other than simply sped up/slowed down. In City of Heroes nearly all files go through a conversion from their original source to the proprietary format used by the game, and without the pre-conversion source files we're limited to using it as it is.

Even with this limitation, we felt it was worthwhile to add as an option for players regardless, since it was just that, an option, and players who don't like the way it looked on their character didn't have to use it.

It's also the reason they use default/ninja weapon movement animations because there were no weapon-holding versions of the run, just like Beast Run, but with sheathed weapons being added in this update, we felt it better to give them alternate runs holding the weapons instead of using the setup of hiding the weapons while moving like Beast Run currently does.

thats actually what I assumed, in fact was going to ask if you had actually created the animations. I have worked on private servers before and reverse engineered stuff but without the specific tools used or even some pointers for decrypting animations it can be an arduous task. That said its not impossible just likely not a worthwhile endeavor.

  5. Animate Stone is persistent even after the death of the Bres NPC that has spawned it, killing the animate stone yields no XP either before or after the summoner has been defeated.

Other summoned behavior from NPCs have the summon give no XP but it will also die when the creator is defeated such as the Legacy Chain Tellus of Earth which also summons a Animate Stone.

I avoid any spoilers until stuff reaches open Beta. Sometimes as a GM I see stuff I'd prefer not to, but it's still exciting 🙂

As a player (and bear in mind I have no contact with the devs or the dev teams outside of dealing with current issues I need advice on so don't have a clue what they are working on) I'd love to see more costume options, especially things like more animal heads and the ability to use national flags. It's sad that a patriotic alt can't have their national flag available as a chest piece or a shield decoration or a cape. Then again I suppose there are so many different flags out there the big ones would be available but then you'd get someone complaining their small island nation got missed off. You can kind of fudge some flags, but for those of us rubbish at creating costumes it would be nice to have them as a drop down option

National flags can be problematic especially with world events like whats going on in Eastern Europe as invariably some troll or edgelord will go out of their way to make an issue.

Intended, any action other than teleporting again will cancel the hover state. It's there exclusively to prevent you from falling while teleporting around and giving you time to pick the next destination.

Intended? I dont know about that, overall its sound but this is an outlying case given the way clicky mezes are set up and with historic use of them almost universally set on auto. Unyielding (stance) was intended to root the player in place originally until 'teletanking' became popular and was considered an exploit.

It is certainly possible and there is at least one example in the game, Practiced Brawler vs. Master Brawler on Sentinels. I believe there was pushback on the idea because if you start doing that for a lot of powers it becomes a balance nightmare and looks clunky, so it wasn't even ported to other versions of Super Reflexes.

Please port to other version of SR, its so clunky to put away weapons to activate mez clicky....

So without making any promises, this is where my mind is going.

    1) Warriors need an aesthetic tweak to be less... bland.

    2) Warriors have a good toolkit but most of that is in highly resisted smash/lethal and so they tend to hit soft and fall hard in the late game, but quite the opposite in the early game.

    3) Warriors need gender diversification.

    4) If Warriors were to be expanded and staying in theme, I'd be looking at their thematic weaponry, and enchanting. These would result in potential leadership buffs or something more exciting.

    5) WITHOUT a civil war, an intrepid member could offshoot as a charismatic leader of relic users.

Here's an idea of something that might exist, should it be determined it should:

(She's already had the shine removed from her shoulders.)

At most, this one I'd see with some runic enchantments on her helm and shoulders.

    image.thumb.png.44f4f07ad7ff1141a0afda64ee9e72c1.png

The Warriors attire and design was a tongue in cheek homage to the 1979 film "The Warriors", it would be a real shame for this genuinely developer chosen aesthetic to be turned into generic outlandish "superhero" fare, not everything is tights and spandex, you dont seem to know where their "theme" is from.

Im all for expansion, Im all for updating but I believe it should be updating existing models and textures as opposed to hotch potching various costume items onto pre existing factions, you have the keys, build your own legacy over butchering others.

    Hi all!

I understand that mobs can always attack, even if they have 1 endurance.

However, is it possible to fully drain and AV or GM and KEEP them at zero endurance so they can’t attack? I was under the impression that you can’t, but a buddy of mine says you can.

I vaguely recall a "secret" hami strategy way back in the early days pre ED was to drain hami with a bunch of rad/elec defenders so mitos coudlnt spawn
