Almost confused at what you were trying to say because Horizon MMO actually sounds cool, but seeing those red highlight on NCsoft and then I go...

    Oh.

    Oh dear.

Has anyone tried Stray?  I've watched some gameplay footage, and while it looks great, I'm wary that it'll turn out to basically be the "boring parts" of a 3rd person RPG, without any of the combat, powers, or customization...

I did and I loved it. And it's not an RPG game though, technically it's more in-line with story-telling, platformer, adventure game. It can be a boring game, but for some people they actually enjoy that type of games.

LEGO City Undercover is a great game. The campaign is addicting and definitely ahead of its time. I got it on Nintendo Switch for a discount and it was worth every penny and more. I am not too familiar with Lego games other than a little bit of The Complete Saga and despite this I found my self enjoying the single player campaign. I also really love the sense of humor in this game, this game its hilarious and I find myself laughing at jokes made by Frank. I HIGHLY recommend you buy this game.

Oh definitely! My brother bought me LEGO City Undercover months ago and I honestly enjoyed it because they didn't overuse some jokes, the story is actually quite engaging for a LEGO game, the areas are pretty cool to explore, and sometimes I thought I was playing a GTA game instead of a LEGO game.

I tried to play LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga once, but I dunno... the game was just way too much for my taste.

I'd love to play this game, but the only launchers I find require a copy of the game.  Can anyone provide a link for a launcher that doesn't need the copy of the game?

Like I said in my previous post, SWG Legends does not need the copy of the game (contrary to what they claimed). They only required it when you want to create multiple accounts/characters. Just download their launcher, install it, and done. Other accounts claimed that the SWG Legends launcher actually create their own folder put the game files there instead of auto-detect the actual folder where copy of SWG.exe located.

If you have a video card, you'll get better performance from Minecraft if you install drivers for it. You will also need Java installed to run Minecraft. There are countless reasons why Minecraft for Linux may not run correctly. The easiest way around most problems is to use Wine (Windows Linux emulator) to run the Windows version of Minecraft. But it is better to ask a professional about it. They will be able to tell you. I did not have any problems with the installation of the game. But once I started looking for servers with certain game modes, I had trouble. I came across a lot of dirty content. Then I found servers-minecraft.net, which contains verified servers. I advise you to look at them after installing the game.

...this forum is for LEGO games, not Minecraft (yes, the game is also with blocks, but Minecraft isn't exactly a lego game)....

Kids and I are playing through Lego Skywalker Saga on PS5 and it is amazing. Beautiful graphics, excellent combat with a bit more depth now, and a lot to collect. We're playing through story modes now, about to start RotJ. Kids aren't big into running around grabbing side missions and collectibles to 100% each level, so I'll go back and do that in freeplay once we're done with all 9 episodes.

I've been watching Lego Skywalker Saga clips and they were all pretty interesting. I thought some of the new features they added were a bit unnecessary and made the game stray further from the original Lego Star Wars games, but as a Lego game by itself, it's an ingenious open world game.

Also, I haven't been playing CoH that much lol. I've been 100 % Lego DC Super villains and now heading to The Lego Movie Videogame... 😄

  7. I'm about to re-install Red Dead Redemption 2, because the last time I played it, I never proceed further from Chapter 3... then again, I spent more time in Red Dead Online instead of continuing the story missions.

GTA Online, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Marc Ecko: Getting Up, and Lego City Undercover are the games I currently played this year.

    Also played this game:

  8. Speaking of LEGO games, what do you guys think about the upcoming LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga? The trailers were all flashy and cool, but I'm still skeptical if this installment will be good or not. So many new stuffs they're shown and I believe there would be world-building, which I still don't know what and how that works. I hope I will not get dizzy with all those new flash effects and stuff.

I played Lego Marvel Superheroes. It's fun, but clearly aimed at kids, no challenge at all. Pick it up if you really like Marvel and want some mindless enjoyment.

Yeah about that, I already tried it and I just couldn't find myself to enjoy the game so I ended up abandoning the game and never play it again. Maybe because I don't particularly liked Marvel heroes that much.

Lego games are good trophy fodder and comedy gold. 😛

Indeed. I miss the time when Lego games weren't voice acted tho, I mean the way the characters merely mumbling and trying to communicate by charades was hilarious itself.

I've can recommend Lego Batman 1/2 and Marvel Superheroes. Haven't gotten around to DC Supervillains or MSH2 or Avengers. If you like the formula though you can essentially play any of them, just pick the licenses you're a fan of.

Just bought DC Supervillains this week, hope they're better than Marvel Superheroes (I already played them but never got around to finish it, because I found the story to be bit... lacking? I think.) Aw man, I love Lego Batman 1! It was one of my favorite games during my childhood (along with Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga).

  11. I am currently addicted on playing LEGO City Undercover and severely neglecting CoH (lol). Spent over 24 hours just to complete its storyline and now aiming to get 100% completion...

Anyway, anyone played any LEGO games before? Or any good LEGO games you guys can recommend? (I already played LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Harry Potter before)

    Sooo...how is it?

It's pretty fun on the first few hours, then it became a bit grinding. The missions are more focused on you killing someone/something from point A to B. The flying missions were cool though, the control was a bit complicated (and sometimes can be a bit janky) but it will become easier to navigate once you play the flying missions several times. Although, some interactions were a bit glitchy and I have to restarted the game just to get some interactions to appear (like the permission to land prompt that wouldn't appear after a few minute flying in space) The career options were cool and apparently you can have a house in-game. Contrary to what they claimed, SWG Legends launcher doesn't need actual copy of the game-- but you may need them if you want to have multiple game account or something.

What about Mourning Star,  mourning the loss of his name Morning Star. Or Good Morning Star but then you need him to drink coffee and donuts and wear pajamas.

I tried Morgen Star, but apparently someone in Germany already taken that.... Good Morning Star sounds like a Saturday Morning cartoon show lol.

I can see where you're coming from. The old hyphen trick isnt fooling anyone lol. I doubt they put any thought into what the original Apache might think and that's something to be mindful of when selecting names.

I played another game where I was away for months at a time but would always come back. My skills would get super akward and i would often get mistaken for a bot.. since there was no global, upon returning all my old friends would always yell at me. "You're not the real potato you faker!" Sometimes I would play into it and pretend to be a fake me.. but I assure you I am 100% potato.

Hyphen trick did not help me at all lol. I want to name my Praetorian character Morningstar, but apparently it was too common, so I tried The-Morningstar, The_Morningstar, Morning-Star, Morning_Star, and nope, not a single name worked! Then I tried Phosphorus, which is a Greek name for Morningstar and... HOW IN THE WORLD IT ALSO GOT TAKEN? That name wasn't exactly common.... 😞 After several other ridiculous variation like Star_Morning, Lucifer Morningstar, and Phosphor, finally I got Heosphorus, which is, again, another Greek name for Morningstar.... thankfully nobody hasn't take that yet.

Look at him, he was angry that I can't get to name him Morningstar... *sobs*  and he was based on some video game villain's character named Morningstar...

Yeah. There are three ways ambushes respond when spawned:

    - Go to predetermined point. You can dodge these just by moving over a little bit.

    - Go to the point *you* were at when they spawned. Moving lets you dodge these.

    - Heat/smell/body/radar/annoying-as-hell guidance which will follow you regardless of stealth, out into the game, out of the game into real life and show up to punch you when you're in the bathroom.

That's okay. I already done the mission! Well, I still ended up dead, but at least I manage to beat Shen before dying!

Okay, sorry for taking two days just to reply to this forum, but I FINALLY DID IT!! I managed to just run through the entire ambushes (Sprint and Stealth On-- for some reason the ambushers still follows me and attack me 😞 ), straight to the elevator, and kill Shi--- I mean Shen, and by the time they flooded me to kill me, the mission prompted me to find an exit. I died lol and let my character to be teleported to hospital instead, which ended the mission in positive note LOL.

Oh and I also found a way to set the enemies difficulty by going to that Power Division Dispatcher, that was near any trainer you find in the city.

So again, thanks for the useful advices, and kind of sorry that I didn't read all of them, only the first few replies I've got. And I ended up went running through the level...

    What AT are you playing?

Other options are to turn off bosses when solo. So, you can kill Shen quicker, before being overwhelmed.

Level up using some other missions, come back to this mission over leveled.

    Corruptor.

There are options to turn off bosses? Where? How?

  20. I've got this mission from Bobcat and I've thought that this will be another mission where I will be ambushed by few groups of three enemies while I attack the boss. Seriously, OVER 20 ENEMIES ALL OVER ME? The enemies aren't in higher levels which is good, but their attacks can put a significant amount of damage on my character and I would die several times before even finding Shen himself.

Is there any good tips/strategy to tackle this particular mission? Or is there some good mix of enhancements?
