  1. Well, spoke too soon, the crashes are still here just not as often. Digging further to people with gaming issues, I am suspect its the Windows 11 24H2 that is the culprit. Unfortunately, one cant just roll back that update to 23H2 which gave me no issues and COH ran perfectly. I will wipe computer and reinstall/update up to Win 11 23H2 to see if the crashing issue is fixed.
  2. That seems to have worked - turned off shadows and have managed to run 45 minutes with no crash (where before I would crash about once every 10 min)
  3. Haven't logged in since before the Anniversary update, but now I am also getting the random crashes (sending in reports when it happens for devs). So far did fresh installs of everything, drivers are at most compatible version (not upgrading to latest NVidia driver for 40/50x since they have so so many problems, so I am a version before). Since this is so random its hard to figure out a trigger for the cashes. Sometimes it during launch, sometimes when I zone, sometimes when I am chasing some Nemesis down the street. ....wait, is this a Nemesis plot?
  4. OK, I did a couple more tests. I copied out "CupidsBow_Hit_01.ogg" directly from the PIGG and put it in the correct folder in Data. Didnt change anything, and it still crashed. I sent a data-dump to Homecoming so hopefully that might shed light on it. Also, the silence file I used was from this forum Post.
  5. Before on Windows 10, I was able to replace (i.e. silence) game sounds using the steps on Homecoming forums. Never had a problem. Now, with new Windows 11, when replacing the sounds (again, same process) the game crashes into the "Homecoming Crash Handler". I did send in a report, but cant figure this out for the life of me. Anyone else have problems with Win 11 and replacing sounds?
