Morbeux Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Before on Windows 10, I was able to replace (i.e. silence) game sounds using the steps on Homecoming forums. Never had a problem. Now, with new Windows 11, when replacing the sounds (again, same process) the game crashes into the "Homecoming Crash Handler". I did send in a report, but cant figure this out for the life of me. Anyone else have problems with Win 11 and replacing sounds?

I copied out "CupidsBow_Hit_01.ogg" directly from the PIGG and put it in the correct folder in Data. Didnt change anything, and it still crashed. I sent a data-dump to Homecoming so hopefully that might shed light on it. Also, the silence file I used was from this forum Post. 1
