Replacing sounds causes Crash on startup

Before on Windows 10, I was able to replace (i.e. silence) game sounds using the steps on Homecoming forums. Never had a problem. Now, with new Windows 11, when replacing the sounds (again, same process) the game crashes into the "Homecoming Crash Handler". I did send in a report, but cant figure this out for the life of me.

Anyone else have problems with Win 11 and replacing sounds?

It might be the sound files you are using are old and not compatible?

OK, I did a couple more tests. I copied out "CupidsBow_Hit_01.ogg" directly from the PIGG and put it in the correct folder in Data. Didnt change anything, and it still crashed. I sent a data-dump to Homecoming so hopefully that might shed light on it.

Also, the silence file I used was from this forum Post
