Good day all. I have a character concept based on a well known magical character from a series (author is Jim Butcher). I have just been playing away getting whichever power I wanted at the time, but now that he needs to be respec'd I am hoping for some direction on powers and slotting. I have exclusively played scrappers and masterminds until now, so I feel I am out of my depth. The only absolutes are that he needs to have the magical power pool and the ice pool when that opens up.
Fire Blasting powers make sense, fireball is 6 slotted as is the high end blast, but optimizing the rest is tricky.
The willpower defence is also tricky. Which powers should be 6 slotted and which ones skipped?

I am onboard with any ability to change your minions. Gender options, in my opinion, should be the first thing to look at but even if we can colour tint them it would be a great improvement. Using existing graphics and designs would be a great option too. Very likely a lot of work for the devs, but we remain hopefull

Good day all. Am I the only one who finds the prestige pets useless in their current incarnation? Ie. the Light and Dark Fairy, red and blue orb ect. Is there a way that we can make them survivable at all and then tweak their effectiveness to compensate? Maybe give them max defense and reduce their buff effects?
Thoughts?

I do see a lot of you suggesting Flares over Fireblast though and I am curious as to why?
