Awesome. The responses are really helpful. So your Lightning’s aren’t causing problems. Maybe it is mostly my tornado. I’ll test and see. Just thought lightning made baddies run away in fear.

Ok thanks. Do you know which of the KB2KD is preferred? I thought Lightening caused a kind of fear where people run away from it. I realize that the enhanvement wont help with that but are there any general strategies that help mitigate the problem? I am guessing a controller would be helpful.

Hi, I have been playing for a few weeks now and trying out a lot of different types. I am currently having fun playing Storm/Water defender, but have some control issues. In grouping my tornado and Lightening tend to send everyone all over the place. I know I read some people say try to position it to corner foes or against a wall, but in TF with random people (I dont have a group or anything so every group is random) its hard to get the melee to fight in a convenient location. Is there a good way to handle this or do i just wing it or try something else. Any tips are appreciated. As a note...i did see some people say to use enahncements that change knockdown to knockback. Would that solve the issue and does it gimp other powers by using it? Please help!!!

I guess that was kind of my question....I know storm is a more offensive set than most of the other defender primaries and wasnt sure if Corrupters made more use of the rain.

Just wondering if people think Storm is more effective on a defender or a corruptor? For example would a ice storm corruptor be more beneficial ona team than a storm ice defender? As a secondary question, is Ice a goodcompanion forstorm?

I am a new player and new to blaster and Water temporal seemed like fun. I am leveling now and could use some some of the mechanics to play better. Mostly, I assume tidal forces is used mostly on cool down but what about Chronos? Is there an ideal time when to use. Also any strategies for tracking tidal power and assuming it’s best to use on water jet once I get it? Thanks!

I am new to COH and tanking generally, but wanted to give it a shot. I am looking for a tank spec that would be good for a new player that isn't overly complex, holds up well at 50 (though wont be doing any hard mode stuff) but still does decent damage. Sorry if that is not a lot to go on for suggestions, but I like the concept of red/rad or dark/dark but not sure if either of those fit what I'm looking for so pretty much wide open. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, just found this game and having fun playing. Trying a few different types right now and stalker eng eng has been a lot of fun. I’m not a seasoned mmo player so I’d probably be better with something that doesn’t require a 100 buttons and a complex rotation. Was hoping the community could help me figure out of stalker is a good class for me or if I should try something else. Thanks!

oh wow thanks! found the beta server but didn't know to look for the freebie item. Are there any resources to discuss builds or rotation, or just trial and error?

Thank you Bio. A little experience with world of jerkcraft...didnt love the community there. I am good with key binds and macros and to be honest I am probably more of power I can fire off whenever kind of guy. And yep am familiar with target of target and such. Any other suggestions for good secondaries for me (or primary powers I should consider though Ice sounds fun) would be really helpful since there doesnt seem to be a way to test level 50 characters. I am not a fan of melee and blaster dps only doesnt seem like my thing, so I figured Corruputer was my best bet just trying to figure out the right powers before I invest time. Thanks again!

I also meant to add I am not the best at keeping up with 20 different buttons to be pushing all the time....would corruptor be ok (seems like the right spec for me, but not sure what end game powers look like and how crazy it is). Thanks again for any tips or build suggestions.

I just found this game and am having fun! Was hoping some experienced people can help me decide between an ice/dark miasma corrupter or water/dark corrupter. Could anyone tell me if one is a lot better than the other? is there a better secondary i should consider (dark just seems fun). if these are decent could anyone share an ice dark build or where i could find one?
