  1. N-no... I... I didn't even know there were alternate animations. Are they in the game? And if so, how do you see or access them?
  2. Can I get some context to this question? Like... are we talking conceptual wise or game mechanics wise? When I think of Ki/Chi Mastery, I would think that it's drawing upon something internal and spiritual-- something developed from years of mastery in the Martial Arts, that you're channeling and manifesting from within. I've created a Martial Arts/Willpower Scrapper-- and I'm going for the flavor of a complete Martial Artist, but the game only allows you to have so many powers and to slot so many areas into. And well... me being an IRL Martial Artist (I've practiced Tang Soo Do for several years) I felt... as if the game's take on Martial Arts is very Taekwondo heavy inspired. There's a lot of kicks, but not enough punching techniques. So it forces you to take a big bulk from the Fighting pool. And I've taken Conserve Energy from Energy Mastery which is a BIG help. But the CLOSEST thing to a Hadouken type, complete with animation, is Project Will. And... well... I'd like to something with the same animation but... stronger, and maybe a different projectile image that shows it's something stronger. And also faster. Cause... Project Will's charging animation is really slow for something very weak, even if you four to five slot it.
  3. Honestly, I hope I am posting in the right area of the forum.. Okay, so... be me. You want to create a Street Fighter inspired/themed/flavored type of character-- You equip Martial Arts, and maybe either Willpower, Super Reflexes, or even Electric Armor-- and to add more to the theme, you even take Fighting. Now your character is a complete Martial Artist. Awesome. You get to a high enough level to where you can take another Power Pool set or an Epic set. Problem is, none of them seem to really fit the theme you're going on. So you have to look into Force of Will, and there's Project Will which is VERY similar to a "Hadouken" or even "Kamehameha" type of move, in terms of animation and the way it looks... Problem is, it's too slow, too weak to really fulfill the effect you're going for. Fine if you wail on an enemy and use it as a finisher when they're an inch of their life. But I would like to see an Epic Ki/Chi power pool set which does have a "Hadouken/Kamehameha" type move (borrow the throwing project animation from Project Will even-- but it should be considerably stronger than Project Will) with maybe even with a Dragon Punch type move (as far as I know, Jumping Uppercuts aren't entirely copyrighted-- SNK's Ryo Sakazaki has a Dragon Punch type move and so does Atlas' Games Reiji Oyama from Power Instinct both of which are similar to Capcom's Shoryuken). Of course, this is just a suggestion.
  4. Did a CHKDSK on my PC and Reverified my Game Files. So far it seems to have helped. SO FAR.
  5. Thank you! I will be doing this ASAP! So far Anti-Virus has picked up no issues. I have yet to run Malwarebytes but I don't think I've picked up anything. I don't web surf as much as I used to. I haven't done a defrag yet but will soon. I wonder if it could've been a bad update.
  6. I have Windows 11 and... have experienced some minor issues with the game for about a year such as glitch loading screens but nothing game breaking. I will do what is suggested. I'll run my Anti-virus Scan, Malwarebytes and do a Defrag. I am sure my PC is healthy though. How do I re-validate game files?
  7. 1) I play in Everlasting. 2) When I log on, it's usually two green orbs from when I see it. Not too many people on there.
  8. So I am not sure if this is something which is just happening to me and only me-- but I have noticed that during this week, there's been something of a noticeable lag when I play City of Heroes. So my character just recently hit Veteran Level 4 and already has a few Incarnate Abilities, but I noticed that whenever I play in PVE battles in any of the zones-- although this is noticeable quite a lot in Dark Astoria, there's Animation Lags. I hit an attack, the character doesn't perform the animation, but the opponent NPC registers the hit and takes damage as normal. However, sometimes the enemy doesn't drop after being KO'ed and just stands there in idle stance until they despawn. So this is something of a.. noticeable lag. Nothing to do with internet connection and this game is being played on a two year old ASUS ROG. However... last night and today have been the worst cases. The above issues are still there and are still prevalent. But last night I was playing the game with a friend, and one of my characters, FELL through the floor and I was trapped in a black area. The only way to get out of that area was to teleport out of there, and when I tried to rejoin the mission again, I fell through the floor again and this time COULD NOT get out because I just used my teleport ability. So, I had to exit the game, restart the game and then I was stuck on the loading screen for maybe a minute or two before being able to select my character. This PC should be able to handle a twenty year old game like this, so... I don't know what is going on. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
  9. There appears to be some residual or polygonal frames being seen when glow and aura affects are in play when my character is wearing tattered sleeves. You can see these polygons around the elbow regions on the arms. This glitch occurred when I switched from my character's Karate gi to a casual outfit with a jacket and back to the Karate gi, and hasn't really gone away on it's own. When I turn off the glow effects for some defensive powers, or remove the tattered sleeves, the polygons are gone. Here's some screenshots. It's nothing game breaking but it's a nuisance.
