    Kinetic Melee

Good afternoon everlasting . I’ve been kicking around ideas for a brute and I thought I would ( finally ) give kinetic melee a shot . Figured brute may be a good place to do that . its common knowledge that it’s on the bad side of available sets but does anyone have any experience with just how much trouble I’m inviting here ?
  2. Good afternoon, I am going to be making a beam rifle / Energy Aura Sent and I have come up with this build so far. Perma energize, near perma hasten. Close to soft cap defenses. I dont have that much experience playing at extremely high level content with fully io'ed out builds. The build is still a work in progress, but I have a big of a nagging concern that I have grabbed to many single target attacks and as such eaten up to many slots on them. With the way beam rifle and sentinel's work I have grabbed both the T1 and the T2 attacks. to have access to offensive and defensive opportunity, but I am starting to think with perma energize that the t2 attack and defensive opportunity may be a complete wash out . Any weigh ins on that topic or the build in general? Thanks! Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.962 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! 3. Hello Controller experts, I have been considering making a controller for awhile. For a bit of background I have not had one since live. In the back of my head controllers scream groups only with the exception of Fire/Kin. So I am working with old info. I play about 50% solo and 50% groups and would like some input. I understanding the secondaries well enough, its the primaries I am concerned about. Right now I am leaning Darkness and Grav ( likely to be paired with /storm or /Dark ) What reading I have done suggests that Gravity may end up being my best option to kind of bridge the gap here. What I am getting at I guess is any input on Grav/ vs Dark/ and how they would pair up in both a solo or team environment? I know storm enough to know how to behave with things like hurricane. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks.
  4. Not quite sure where to put this as I was looking to compare two AT's . I recognize that dual blades is not.. the best set but It is something I always wanted to give a good swing to. I am just not sure which class fits best on it: Stalker, Brute or Scrapper. I want to say scrapper because of the base higher damage, or stalker due to assassinate , but it for the most part animates pretty fast and that lends to bruting. So here I am asking people that know better then me. Thank you.
  5. Quick question, If this gets slotted AOE will it proc per target or only once total? Difference between it being useful or not... Thanks!
  6. Just a simple question , when I ask it in game I get both answers. Can Psudopets (chain induction and lightning rod in this case) Crit?
  7. Hello everyone, First off thanks for your time reading this. So I came across a character concept I want to flesh out and decided to go with a Elec blast /Energy Aura Sent. This is born of a Elec/Elec/Elec blaster I loved in live mixed with a bit of trying something new. I would just like to confirm a few things: 1) With a bit of slotting Short Circuit + Power Drain will do the same job flattening everyone's endurance that it did on my blaster. Seems to me it should and I had a lot of fun doing this on my blaster. 2) How important is going fighting pool for this? Ive had a habit of getting it out of reflex and I am willing to do so, it just pushes me out of epic pools and I want to make sure the payoff is worth it. 3) Tesla cage does a lot more damage on a sent then it did for my blaster. Should I be considering treating it just as a big damage hit with a hold side effect? Or should I consider the control aspect of it more. 4) Is there any 'must skip' powers from elec blast? I am looking at it and the only one that seems a bit up in the air is aim. But I dont know how the attacks tie together once you start getting into some recharge. 5) Any big tips? It looks pretty straight forward use wise. 6) If I was going epic I was thinking elec mastery for the CC . Is rehabilitating Circuit worth anything? Bit of a head scratcher on that one. Thank you for anyone who takes the time to respond and read, and have a great night.
