it does not appear that the "awakened" costume preset is available for any of the 3 body types as listed.

Have you double-checked this with a completely new character - or a "Blanked out" costume? I ran into some issues with trying to apply/find the costume parts because I had other pieces (like certain types of shoulders) that make Awakened pieces not show up as available. Once I started from scratch and looked around - aha! There they were!

  2. Also - beauty pass on the Kallisti Wharf shorelines looks good overall. But some of the rock textures seem a bit... Oddly polished? You trying something new here? Not really a complaint. Just an observation of a difference in the rock textures. Not like the ground textures in Talos and Founders Falls nor the textures in Rogue Isles. Just - something new.

    Also - GOOD MUSIC choices!

  3. Oh - I guess I could follow that up by saying there's ANOTHER dilapidated Gas Station in Praetoria in the Northwestern Sector of the 15-20 Zone - the one with Keyes Reactors. The Reactors are in the south and the gas station is in the far northwest of that map.

And if you want a REAL adventure - there's even one more in the wild space outside of Pocket D. And I know how to get there. 😆

Where is this Healix?  I see war walls, and what looks like a factory, but I'm not remembering a deserted gas station.  Is this somewhere in Crey's Folly?

I can answer that question - it's on the "Red" side of the Kallisti Wharf zone. If you're looking at the overhead map, it's in the South-eastern (lower right) corner of the map.

  5. If you want to show even more of a battle-damaged look to your costume or if you wish to make a Demonic/Succubus like character that matches the Circle of Thorns Succubus NPCS or - if you just like to live life a little more dangerously in general, then this mod will help.

I found the texture file for the Succubus tights pattern and made a "Blast" pattern replacement for it.

Note - Male lower body does not have a full bare skin tights option (that I'm aware of). So it'll be of more use for just the top part. Though I've included what the bottom will look like anyway here.

Blast Pattern with the "Succubus" pattern replacement texture file:

(I haven't done a mod since the Daft Punk Pocket D music mod. And we were using straight up data folder mods back then. So I'm unsure if I've done this right. I might need some help on this.)

  7. Two films that you THINK are about racing. But really - they are about so much more.

    First - RUSH

Next - not to be outdone - Ford Vs Ferrari

Both films are FAR Deeper than you might think. Rivals and Friends. Fathers and sons. Honor and Glory. Friendships that stand when everything else goes to hell.

They are perfect bookends to each other. You want a movie night with a shared theme that your significant other isn't expecting to like, but will LOVE? These two films will absolutely wind up as favorites.

  8. Salute to you, sir. I've been on quite a few of the raids and iTrials that you led.

Rest well. But I do expect to see you again. You just need to get past the burnout. I cycle through a handful of games myself. I understand this process. I stave it off for weeks and months with my game cycle and other things. You've staved it off for YEARS at this point. It will take a long time to not feel that on return.

    Go play other games.

Go catch up on reading books or comics.

Watch movies from your bucket list.

Heck - go travelling in the really REAL world! Take pictures!

Also - come back to the forums and say hello even if you don't log into the game. Share what's going on with your life. People here care about you. You've made friends. Post pictures. Tell people what's going on. Your friends care. I recommend not going complete hermit.

That's my recommendation. And I don't even know you that well.

  9. I found this bit of amusement on Quora by someone named Jonathan Glen:

QUESTION: "How would Peter Parker act in the elevator fight scene if he were in the same situation like Captain America?"

I love this question because it says “Peter Parker” and not Spider-Man. If Peter were in this situation and dedicated to not revealing that he is in fact Spidey then you would get an amazing scene.

Here’s a quick idea of how I think it would go down.

Peter: (Spidey sense tingling) Hey, I’m actually going to get off here and take the stairs. You know I heard exercise is important and …

Thug 1: (presses door close button)

Peter: Oh, ok I guess I’ll get off at the next one. Can you push 25?

    Thug 1: (silence)

Peter: Man, weird energy in here. Is anyone else getting that? Did the coffee machine break? Actually too much caffeine isn’t great you may want to try …

    Thug 1: Shut up

Peter: ok I really don’t know what I did to you but will you please let me off now?

Thug 2: (grabs Peter from behind in a bear hug, lifting him up)

Peter: Whoa, we just met don’t you know you’re supposed to ask for consent first?

(Thug 1 throws a punch at Peter’s face)

(Peter breaks out of Thug 2’s grasp and as he falls to the floor he slips between the thug’s legs to get away as Thug 1 punches Thug 2, knocking him out)

Peter: Ouch. That looked like it really hurt. Anyone have any aspirin?

(Peter looks around at the rest of the elevator and sees the determination in each person’s eyes as everyone prepares themselves for battle)

Peter: Whatever it is, I’m sure that we can talk about it.

The rest of the scene is Peter basically dancing between punches as each of the soldiers is taken out by friendly fire.

At the end, only two soldiers remain and both have stun wands. They both attack at the same time from either side, one going low and the other going high. He’s finally forced to tap into his powers a little more deeply as he does a spinning flip to avoid both, causing them to stun each other.

The end result is the same but Peter never threw a punch in the fight, and didn’t use his webs or ability to stick to walls. You also get him playing a bumbling teen the whole time and apologizing as people get injured like it’s not his intention.

I’d love to see something like this make it onto the screen. It could be the perfect combination of comedy and action.

I bet you could find an excuse to have a scene like that work in an upcoming Spider-Man film. I think you'd HAVE to play it as comedy - and homage at the same time. A comedic callback if you will.
And it totally goes with the light-hearted Spider-Man portrayed by Tom Holland!
Almost "Jackie Chan as Spider-Man" if you get my meaning!

  10.

That complete lack of hesitation at the end there IS A MOOD!!!

Also - this is a reminder that the REAL challenge to writing good supervillains is to make their goals either unachievable via normal means, or to make the money gathering only the TINIEST part of the overall plan! 😆
