Ah ok, so it looks like the original problem is with selecting an other-side mission not actually selecting it,
and the game not telling you that with a popup. Then the secondary problem is the mission TP power sending you
to a mission you didn't select when there are none selected!! What a mess, so there are actually 2 bugs.
Mission TP should just pop up an error when there are no missions selected, and do nothing.

ah! i wonder if it has to do whether in a red zone or a blue zone? that it might fail if in the wrong alignment zone? for example you are in cap au diable, but your mission is in steel canyone. i am pretty sure that will not work... if i remember correctly. 😉
It might be something related to that, but I know for sure it works at least sometimes...
Transported to a mission in Grandville from Talos. But sometimes I end up at a different mission door.
As I recall when I click select task sometimes it tells me it's a side specific mission, everyone must be on the same side or similar.
But no errors when I click the tp.

Only times I have that happen is if I haven't actually selected the mission. If it's just yellow, you've clicked on it, but you need to actually "select task"
And for Mission Transport, you have to do that before you click Mission Transport
I always select task and it turns red first.

Interesting...I use this all the time and I've never had a problem.
Is it taking you to some other mission on your list, or just to random locations?
Do Team Teleporter and Long-Range Teleporter work correctly for you? It's usually another mission in the list. The other tp's you mention I don't use much. Maybe half the time it works correctly?
-
Thought I would post this, since it's a PIA to me, but perhaps it's known and hard to fix?
The mission transporter power has been broken for years, it often takes me to the wrong zone,
or the wrong place in the right zone. Yes the mission is correctly selected and it's a door mission.

There is an iPhone app that can be used for this, City Char Tracker.
It doesn't link to the live game, but is both a build planner and a char tracker.
-
There is a good iOS planner app, but it is intentionally different than Mids.
City Char Tracker.
It is more of a tracker for your chars, but also is a basic power planner with more accurate power data than Mids.
-
Not all of them have failed, there's been a successful iOS mobile planner for years (City Char Tracker).
It is not designed to be a clone of Mids at all, it's currently more of a char tracker / database with many
of its own unique features (pics of chars, sorting/searching, emailing builds), but also is a basic build planner.
The OP I could tell in < 5 min had no idea of the scope of work he was talking about, what he was saying
would take years of hard work and testing. I remember seeing the post a while back, and some really poor
UI shots, and time estimate of few months, and knew where that was going. There are many thousands
of unique powers in the game, and with HC that database is still changing. You have to start with some
core features first, and do that well, then add to it later.

Same here, same error message (this indicates a certificate problem).
There are some other threads on this Mac topic, with different launchers to install from Manga.
None of them work for me, the certificates are screwed up.
I'm on Ventura 13.3.1 (latest).

Ok thanks, makes sense. However then I think CoD should also display somewhere the end/sec for toggles, since
that's what the game shows, and how people compare them?
-
Bug report: all the End Cost data for Toggles is wrong, or at least a lot of it. 😞

There is an iOS app, City Char Tracker. It's a planner/builder but different feature set than Mid's.

My 2 inf: while I like most of the travel power changes, and they're not much of a big deal since they're just
travel power changes, 2 items I don't like/agree with, since they weren't broken:
"Level Scaling
- Travel powers no longer increase in strength as you level up, the previous level 50 values now apply at all levels
- Travel speed caps no longer increase in strength as you level up, the previous level 50 values now apply at all levels"
Don't like this, all chars with lvl 50 travel speed? Why? I think faster travel is a nice perk of leveling up, giving it to
starting chars is OP and messes with immersion a bit.
"Pool: Concealment
- Invisibility and Stealth have been merged together, the best parts of both powers are now available with just Stealth"
IMO this is also OP and unnecessary to make Stealth have so much. So starting chars can get full invis with one power pick
and not even need Celerity? Before there was a choice: Stealth + Invis or Stealth + Celerity, both requiring more investment.
I guess these 2 changes mean the current devs want to make chars OP right from lvl 4 - first SOs for everybody, now
full invis and lvl 50 travel speed?
- Concealment has been updated to include a new sneaky & versatile travel power: Infiltration
And this replacement for Invis is useless unfortunately.

I would strongly recommend taking the msi installer off your website for now.
The zip archive should be used until a lot more testing is done.
I'm a developer, and have worked a little with msi installers, they're a pain in the ass.
But since I've never got your msi installer to overwrite a new install either (it crashes
and leaves the icon pointing to nothing, possibly due to AV conflicts), I'll only be using
the zip archive.
Thanks for quick response.

Happened to me too! Uninstalled Mids from Windows 10 Settings, since the new installers always crash!
It destroyed my desktop!!!!!!!!
Dozens of icons deleted, not in trash! This thing is dangerous! Please look at it.

Modern problems require simple solutions 👍
Then again, lots of people are pretty lazy to do the simplest of things. Hell, the search option on the bottom takes all of 5 seconds.
It's not a matter of finding or searching for chars, I'd prefer the game keep track of it for each shard, rather than yanking back to first char
for no reason. All they have to do is write a file with the slot number in it, and read it back.

No, it's not hard at all. In fact, you can do the change. keep the first page of your character list free. slot your most played or most recent toons there. when you log in, it will select the top of the list, always. So if you're like me who cycles between 2-5 toons at any given time, depending on the mood, then those 5 will be on page one until such a time that another takes their place.
Ok, that has nothing to do with what I asked for, but good luck with that I guess.
-
This is a tiny thing, but it bugs me all the time, which makes it less tiny.
Char Select should remember the last char you played and stay there when you log/relog.
Instead it always goes back to Char 1. Very annoying. That can't be hard to change, can it?

This is a known bug where the PvP attributes are showing in addition to the PvE ones in the powers info.
All the armor sets gain additional debuff resistances in their toggles while on a PvP map, it's just not usually visible unless you click "Show PvP effects."
Does that also explain why the tanker secondaries are now showing as mostly single target attacks?
For sets that were mostly AoEs?

@BalrogLord - already been reported in the Bug Reports section here:
It's a display issue where PvP effects are showing up in the PvE numbers when they shouldn't be.
Ah ok thanks.

Ever since the tanker changes, I've seen major problems with the power descriptions in-game (mostly
primaries I think). They contain large amounts of extra power effects that don't actually apply in-game.
Example - here is from the power text for Fiery Aura - Plasma Shield:

Whaaaaaaat is all that lol. Lots of it is repeated, what a mess.
30% psi res? 50% slow res? In Plasma Shield?? I checked, these don't show up in Combat Attributes, thankfully.
Similar bizarre problems in:
Dark Armor - Obsidian Shield
Invulnerability - Unyielding
+ prob others.

Sorry, that makes no sense. Sending you to a mission that's not selected at all is a bug to me. I want to control where it sends me.
