Hi. I'm aware this topic will come off as snippy. Today, a big public RP event saw a particular party performing blatantly adult actions for a crowd. Granted, they were told off for it, but they still did it. I promise I'm going somewhere with this. It's becoming harder and harder to engage with this community when there are prominent groups and characters who essentially state their desire for pet play or torture scenarios in their bios. Yes, I'm coming off as rude about this. No, I don't necessarily have an issue with people ERPing. What I have an issue with is people shoving their fetishes in others' faces and blatantly disrespecting any sort of basic politeness or public decency that would otherwise keep them from doing so. If you want to ERP and engage with adult themes, please, keep it private. Do not put it in your bios and *especially* do not send people unsolicited whispers asking for ERP.

Not nearly enough. Besides my good friends, and poor timezone aside, it usually feels like I'm trying to build a bridge with toothpicks. There are rare times where I find very nice, friendly people, but more often than not I feel like I'm busting my ass trying to get people to engage with me and getting totally stonewalled. That's not exclusive to this RP community, but it's a feeling I'm pretty tired of.

People are really blowing this out of proportion, and it's by no means what I intended with the thread. I simpl wanted more attention paid to the issue. There's no need to talk about naming and shaming, etc. This is purely a moderation and community behaviour issue.

I might need some guidance on finding the support tickets, I'm in no way familiar with the system. That being said, I appreciate the mod attitude and attention to this.

Appreciate all of the responses on this. I didn't expect much more than a "yeah, me too" from one or two people, but the well thought out responses give me some hope. While I always ignore the people performing this kind of behaviour, it doesn't exactly fix it. I've seen more than enough bios with explicit, not at all subtle 'hinting' at a character's sexual features, their sexy pheremones, etc. I'm absolutely fine with people ERPing among consenting adults, but I'd really rather not be made a part of it by total strangers.

Over the last few months, there's been a very uncomfortable shift in the RP community where people are being MASSIVELY sexually aggressive OOCly, and I'd like to know if anything is being done about this. Events I've witnessed/had happen to me: -Multiboxing alts surrounding me to flirt OOCly in whispers, completely unprompted -Unsolicited whispers from a player explicitly describing their fetishes and how I/my character would play into them Both of these instances were reported, and I've seen both players walking around free as a bird since. Are we just pretending that this isn't a problem?

If you don't see anything suspect about a topless character hiding tucked away behind the ramps in Pocket D with a child, good for you. For anyone who's been in an RP community for any length of time, this is obviously suspicious and quite clear what they are doing. I'm personally not comfortable with the idea that people should be able to get away with fishing for ERP on child characters without any way to stop it.

While we have a good RP community here, I've noticed a serious issue with people performing ERP both with and as underage characters. Not only incredibly short characters with very vague bios/descriptions, but characters with an explicit stated age as young as ten years old. I know we can't confirm anything from two barely dressed characters standing silently in a corner of Pocket D together, but I'd very much like to know if there was a way to report this behavior for it to be investigated.
