'Not pretty' as in you get a bland feelling when majority of attacks aren't animating 😜
I've had this done on an Earth/Psi Dominator and only 2... no maybe 3 of the attack animations worked:

Have a GM turn you into one of those ....Gorgon(?) Talons of Vengeance Elite Boss. Only a few attack animations work with it. It's not broken but at the same time, not really pretty at all.

Everyone and every play set can solo to varying degrees. Every playset is now built with the expectation that people will both solo and team and do so at their leisure.
But not the empathy playset...

Here as well, this was recorder before the new rules.
I got this build from the forum... the one with 3000+ builds. So I'm pretty sure there are better builds out there that aren't being shared. Long story short, Empaths CAN solo.

This is what I do too, but after getting the o-port in Ouro, I'd go to Talos. Then grab House Hunter in Night Ward via TUNNEL and exiting back to Atlas and park the new alt in City Hall for the day job.
Prior to that, I'd jump jet/steam jump to get Top Dog and click on the 1st plaque for the Atlas Medallion.
Though sometimes, when I do get around to playing said alt but not liking the powersets, they get deleted/rerolled. 😝

Upon exiting the mission, If they happen to catch your 'TT announcement' - either as soon as they hit their base tp macro or saw it when they loaded in their base, they could always just use the base exit to spawn back to where they originally TP'd. They may be a few seconds late but they could've still catch that ride. But then again, they probably didn't know they could do that.
If they knew though yet still continued to hit the zone tp even after seeing that, then that's their choice for going the ....scenic route.

I have this mission saved, Defeat Nightstar and I often use this to have new alts on a different account get the badge 'early'.
You're right that it's bugged that you couldn't step out of the mission but, I've always got the badge upon exiting (as already mentioned, via o-port or base port). It doesn't show up on the system message but if you look at your most recent badge, it should be there. I've done this quite recently on 3 alts which now have Portal Jockey.
I'm not too sure about acquiring the badge via Ouroboros/flashback though.

I used to LOVE fly, now all my fliers switched to Mystic Flight for Rune of Protection in the Sorcery Pool, it's just that good for my squishies.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the event runs for a full month this year. There were always complaints that some people couldn't participate because of their holiday schedules, so a longer run time would allow more players to join in the fun.
After Thanksgiving then! The 29th 😉
I agree with you and Tahliah though, to at least start early on the month of December with the longer event run.

But if you don't even log into your account after, I don't think you are long for keeping a name. If you lose the name, you can move to another server and take it when you return. If you didn't level up, you probably aren't even in an SG that needs your character yet.
Everyone has their own way of being 'invested' in their characters, is what I'm getting at here. Not everyone make bios, not everyone fully IO out their alts. It's no different than saying, if they don't get their characters to 50, they're not invested in them.

You must have the actual Mystic Flight power for it to show up. By default, when using Mystic Flight, a pop up tray appears for Translocation. Null can disable this pop up.

As far as I've heard, even if a dev grants someone this badge (if they are still doing this at all), it won't show up on your character info/badge list. 'i25' may have completely gotten rid of this badge. Of course........ it would be nice if an actual dev/administrator could confirm it.

By following a similar bind from here:
although, you probably won't be needing the <bordercolor> one, you can already do it in-game.
ex: /bind y "e <bgcolor blue><color white>yells"
Replace the color names with what you want or use html color codes for custom colors.

I was on the ITF earlier as Pilfer Girl and instead of pressing my 'targetcustomnext' keybind, I was spamming an emote bind by accident. I'm pretty sure I got global ignored, so I just wanted to say sorry.
