Can you point me towards evidence in the code?  Again, I'd love to hear that I'm incorrect.

I just know from experience playing the game.  I'm no programmer.

Stone is an excellent, excellent set.

Seismic has a high proc activation rate, but you're not going to get both mallets into the window.  By my calculations, you'll have 2.367 seconds of active proc time and you'd need 2.648 seconds to get off both mallets.  One mallet and Stone fists, yes.

But I generally put crit strikes in Fault and count on getting just one power off in the window.

You can get both mallets in the window.  you only need to start the last attack before the critical strikes window finishes in order for it to be boosted.

Anyone have any other ideas? It's just for fun to see some big damage numbers. Ideally the biggest possible for a melee attack without the use of inspirations.

    Thanks.

you should experiment with the ATO crit proc in burn.  I've been running the chance to hide proc on my EM/fire stalker in burn and since it's recharge is similar to TF it works out nice to get double focus consistently.  Not sure if it would work out better with the scrapper version though.

After looking at Stone Melee I finally conceded that the problem with its ST rotation was trying to only use the mallets. It makes leveling a chore, it makes the ST clunky, and even at end game it requires everything in place plus an FF proc to be gapless.

I had the same epiphany, especially with tanks since stone fists is an automatic pick.  That wasted power pick was really detrimental with a chain that didn't need both.

My archer blaster is the safest and honestly most fun blaster I have. No buffs needed that I see.

Revisiting archery recently I was surprised at how strong blazing arrow is.  It has better DPA the regular big blasts other than ice/fire/psi.  Pretty good damage rotating with your snipe and a good secondary attack.

Shouldn't we be using arcanatime on the .5 seconds? Since we're still talking about something that supposedly activates .5 seconds after the server registers that it's been clicked, using arcanatime would then calculate that .5 seconds up to .632 seconds for an uptime post click value for buildup of 9.312.

Edit: Side note on arcanatime. There's been mentions here and there that .132 is no longer an accurate value due to back end configuration changes. I've long wondered if the added overhead of virtualization is playing a role but I've no clue how to test it or how Arcana came to the conclusions she did all those years ago.

Thinking about this really hurts my brain but I think the arcana time has to be either part of the ATBE (animation time before effect) or split between the two.  Some of the scrapper chains I've managed to fit into the critical strikes window seem to work even though they are barely over by a fraction.

  8. I agree with snarky but I'm not sure if it keeps working for the longer lasting pseudo pets.  I was testing it with poison set poison trap recently and the hit chance went up with tactics on but only on the first tick.  You can add "Pet damage inflcited" to a chat tab to see the pseudo-pet hit rolls.

  9. Even though the burst damage is higher with proc dominate/mind probe, their long recharge makes it unable to match primary powers per rotation and causes you to use it infrequently compared to the moderate recharging melee options.  I've gotten higher DPS from using Sting of the wasp and cremate before because they allowed a more efficient rotation.  It really depends on the rest of your attack chain.

What @Pzn said. BF-AS-SS-AS. Pop a Recovery Serum before your run if end is an issue. Think of putting the Gaussian BU Proc in BF. Is the ATO1 proc not anywhere on this build or did I miss it? Think of putting it in Typoon's Edge and moving what you can of Arma to SS.

ATO1 is already in mud pots.  I was helping tweak the build and slotted the arma set for the ultimate accuracy bonus.  So you'll have capped accuracy against 54s before counting BF.  I didn't want to lower the proc chances on fury but couldn't figure out how to get everything else right on the build without the full purple set.  I always forget about gaussian's going there I bet that makes a difference.

Any tips on making a better time?

I think you'll get better results with a 2nd ablating in that chain.  So a 4 attack chain of Blinding>Ablating>Sweeping>Ablating.  There's almost a full second gap on BF with that slotting and chain.  I would try assault core too.  I almost always get better results with core on stalker and scrapper since the damage buffs also increase your critical damage.

It's crazy that people probably have no idea there used to be like 15-20 different test pvp teams on live all with rosters ranging from 8-30 people before i13 killed all that. The community was really big. But yeah there's a legacy of pvpers including myself who've continued pvping since then.

PvP was incredibly popular after CoV launched, from casual to organized.  The whole expansion heavily emphasized PvP and it was a major selling point.  It's too bad it was neglected after.

This is what I have worked up so far in Mids. I have no idea how to reach the Recharge numbers I have seen elsewhere, as I chased it wherever possible. Entirely possible I am doing something wrong in Mids with the calculations. My resists are pretty abysmal while some of my defense numbers are too high and others not high enough (Negative and Psi). I was not focusing on a leveling build, so the power choices by level and slotting by level are obviously not optimized.

Any and all feedback, comments, critiques from better builders are most welcome!

You have too many LoTG: 7.5% rech IOs.  You can only get the bonus from 5 and I see 7.  I would swap one of those 6 slotted defense powers into a full reactive defenses set for 8.75% recharge.  That will also save you from needing to slot the scaling unique on it's own.  The other epic or patron pools (fire, mu, or soul normally) help me get a few more bonuses too.  Body mastery doesn't have many good spots for sets while I can usually get a Ragnarok and/or Apocalypse set in the others.  You could drop leadership to lighten your end costs and free up some power picks for other epic options.

  15. EM/fire stalker with musculature/degen/assault.  Averaging 1:22 without hybrid and 1:10 with.  Attack chain is Burn>TF>ET>Zapp>AS>ET with chance to hide in burn.  The run times are all over the place since misses can really throw off the doubling up focus stacks.  Build up popping back up usually covers the gap by a lost focus stack.  I try to hit build up right after TF when possible.

  16. Nice build (besides the flurry thing..).  If you added one more accuracy bonus like on one of those LoTG sets then you could drop an acc/dam from your proc'd attacks and still be capped on accuracy against +4s.  Swapping 1 acc/dam to a 50+5 damage IO would give you a little more damage.  Hard to find a spare slot though.
