  1. What if Regen gain the ability to fight beyond the 0 HP mark? Instead of just a revive ability. We also have an option called "Damaged Vitals" as the alternative while alive. "Damaged Vitals" grants you an extension of negative HP beyond 0. It could be a % of Maxhp, or the equivalent of +absorb numbers for scrappers and brutes to simplify things. It also changes the effects of Reconstruction, Dull Pain, and IH. Clicking Reconstruction only gives 100hp up front, and the rest comes in a 10 tick, heal over time effect. Dull Pain auto reduces all damage by 50%. IH becomes Instant Regret, granting Brute max damage cap. Scrapper and stalker attacks remain in 100% crit state while "Damaged Vitals" is active. All debuffs convert to heal over time effects. If you're defeated while "Damaged Vitals" is active. No revive abilities or inspirations will work on you. Once you reach 1HP. Recon, DP, and IH return to normal, but are only half effective until revive power recharges. It's the penalty for having to use such a drastic ability. What say you? Too much seasoning, or is this cooking at the right temperature?
  2. Just something to add a lil flavor to our defeats. Nothing like some "battle scared" face option to choose from. Cuts, bruises, burns, closed eye, busted lip. We could add it to one of our costume slots. Kinda like a "yeah, I completed the mission, but didn't walk away clean" sort of thing.
  3. Now a "heal over time" is something that could work. I'd take that over +absorb any day. Reconstruction healing and giving a "HoT" effect is a win! When I think of +absorb, it makes me think of shell or cocoon. A +recharge would have diminishing returns down the stretch. A 20% recharge debuff protection would be more fitting with the health body" statement. +Def? Mmmmm... I'm leaning towards a no on that, as I'm looking to improve what we already have. Def is amazing, but it isnt our thing.
  4. You are a true Hero! I'm back!!!! Thank you!
  5. Based on the chart, we see that Regen is lacking vs every other powerset. Sets missing KB can be plugged easy. Those without regen debuff protection are fine, as their primary form of protection isn't regeneration. How are we "second best" at what we are known for? Ridiculous! Its common knowledge regeneration is the lowest form of protection in the game. I'm fine with that, but we need the proper buffs to make our niche solid. From a comparative view of this chart. We really have no "X's" on the board.
  6. - Reconstruction turning into anything using +absorb would just kill me. It doesn't fit Regen at all. I'd take 20% slow protection added over +absorb. - Speaking of Reconstruction. Why on earth does Healing Flames have a faster recharge then Reconstruction? - IDK about resistance bump. I made a TW/Regen Brute and was able to reach 90% to S/L. It was mmmmm... different. I prefer the click session. It gives me so many options to control my fate. Ace of Spades: Claws/Regen Scrapper "Doesn't matter what they do....I've always got a trick up my sleeve."
  7. And that would be ok too! Why you ask!? Because It would be MY "piss poor" choice. We have the ability to pick whatever we wish and have fun with it all day. Some think "TW is too slow." Didn't stop my fun! "Oh, Psi Melee sucks end game!" I'll stab that robot for hours with a smile! I personally think Willpower is trash, and its name stems from the player using all there "Willpower" to keep their eyes open from boredom. Clearly that didn't stop a single Willpower from being made. Stalkers have to deal with the "issue" of the "battlefield changes" every time they attempt AS. I'm sure no one erased a single Stalker because of it. If Air Strike was made available to the players, and it ended up being trash/mediocre. That won't stop the power of the soloist ,concept player, or the looming "altitus." Players are gonna play.
  8. Indeed there are, but supplementing flaws with outside options isn't the goal. Improvement of Regen's base of operations is the target. We need a stronger baseline, and debuff protection is the best way to go.
  9. Yes, I'm using HC Launcher. I've had it for a bit. It was one of the updates after issue 27 that I couldn't log any more.
  10. See that! Willpower has an answer! It makes the "Anti Body" ability a much needed buff for Regen. Dosen't have to be "perma" like Heighten Senses. We just need a temporary response to an irritant. Nothing more embarrassing then a blind Regen in the mist of Arachnos. Not only am I blind. I'm blind just as long as a squishy with no protection. Arguments have feels behind them. This is the equivalent of you and me having a convo over a beer. Good banter if you will.
  11. I have to disagree. If the gas is effecting the mucus membrane to cause such an irritation then that power is gonna kick in without question. Normal ppl have immunity from gas irritants. I can only imagine how resistant a person with regeneration would be.
  12. 1) But Willpower has "sand and smoke" in his eye too! What makes him gtg? 😄 2)Ah that's right! I always skip it on my scrapper, and I can't log in atm. I'll have to reevaluate on that one!
  13. 👍!!!! Not to mention some new fun after kicking council butt!
  14. 1) I tied it to MoG recharge to "dumb it down" so to speak. More like an "emergency passive response" to extreme danger or shock to the system. Something temporary when the regen resistance takes a hit. Your body is gonna fight! 2) I don't understand why a "regen guy" wouldn't be immune to blindness. Fear!? More like fearless if you know your gonna get back up 9/10 times. Confuse? Ok, I can see pulling that off the menu. We still have "spike/burst damage" weakness if we get to confident. 3) It was a "psychological tactic" Wolverine has used with his healing factor. It would only work on things below "Boss" rating. It can't lock them permanently, and the goal is a few seconds to heal. It can only trigger on crit damage making it rare. Recon/IH update. Maybe slow debuff if enemies are not afraid. People are not so quick to "pull up" or act quickly when danger/caution are on deck. 4) End drain resistant would be cool, as I feel Regen should be the king of Debuffs resistance/immunity. But end protection would step on the toes of the powers sets who do that already (IMO). Victory Rush feeds into the "accelerated endurance" motto of the regenerative type. It feeds into the confidence of someone invigorated by the fear of others. Sabertooth. HS bully. Corrupt cop. Conner Mcnuggets. 5) "I Ain't Done Yet" is nothing more then a last ditch effort to keep fighting. Think old school Mega Man when your fighting a boss, and it hits your life to zero. You don't explode because you have a health capsule that restores just enough health to keep you on your feet passively activating. That sums it up. It would replace Taunt for scrappers/stalkers. Two chances then you're done! I don't like the idea of Regen getting non concept powers like +absorb that Bio/Rad armor have. It misses the mark on Regen. Let us be the "anti debuff guy" that heals fast. No inate DDR, additional +HP, addtional +regen, end protection, +damage, or +absorb. Let my regeneration do the talking.
  15. That's what I was attempting to say earlier. I was simply referencing the ability of a 20mm gatling. I didn't know devs made that statement, but it doesn't stop the power from being a potential temp option. I just figured the damage it inflicts on Sutter TF made it Incarnate worthy. Many who ignored the Airstrike warning the first time make damn sure those feet are moving the second time.
  16. 1)I was always under the assumption it was aircraft. I don't remember if I actually heard jets fly past over head, as your focus is on the warning sound before the attack on the Sutter TF. But wait! I think jets do a strafe run, because they can be heard in the opening tutorial mission where you fight Shiva giant IIRC. 2) Isn't the Well of the Furies responsible for many things that we wouldn't even believe are tied to its power? I get what you're saying about the personal growth via the well's power and it makes sense. But dammit, I just wanna call it it in!!! "I need heavy ordinance at xyz coordinates! Gonna be danger close!" 😄 3) I could settle for it being a temp power. You call it in with a radio like MM summon commando. It could be an Arachno, or Freedom Corps aerial vehicle we see from team TP doing a quick strafe with S/L damage. That works for me! Tie it to hero or villain alignment. Rouges get Raider assistance!
  17. So you think an Airstrike would be weird if it penetrated a cave or sewer system? A 20mm gatling gun can penetrate a cave and sewer system with no problem. If we're talking missiles, there are a plethora of bunker busters to choose from. It's more then realistic. Then you have things like.... Meteor (as you mentioned) Calling in MM pets. (The parachute commando) (the gang members coming out a sewer) Arachnos spider bot pets. (Entry animation on space map) Incarnate lightning attack (in space) Whirlpool water attack.... The list goes on. You've in fact validated Airstrike as a realistic option. Maybe an SG satellite attack would be fitting? Only available for SG.
  18. Many players enjoy running PUG Council missions. Why not add specialized Council mission that allow players the opportunity to collect different components/schematics to build a Temporary Council War Walker after defeating a certain amount of Council missions similar to Bank mission? Should be "Incarnate only" to extend its experation date. It opens the door to all kind of surprises to be implemented. Gas zones (like incarnate trial tunnel) that DoT your HP until "X" targets are defeated. "Sneak by" zones like "SBB" Casino Heist that trigger an ambush or sapper defense mechanism if you touch a sensor. New Council EB with "Council version" of gang war. New Terrifying Council map with "Terminator style facility" background for War Walkers. Defeated players must be rescued from prison cells that hit them with random debuffs that remain until mission complete. Place bombs like Rikti Mothership to keep the CWW production in check. An "Incarnate option" besides the traditional Bank run. It targets fresh Incarnates in terms of difficulty. What are your thoughts?
  19. At the end of the Sutter TF. Our heroes are faced with two AVs, and lots of Raider backup. In the mist of the chaos, we have to be mindful of the impending doom of multiple deadly Airstrike attacks. I think the Airstrike is a great ability. It would be a welcoming addition to the incarnate AoE choices for military, police, or mercenary themed toons. Why isn't this a thing? At the very least. It could be an expensive "one off" temp power that can only be used once per mission no matter how many players have the temp ability. My Military Mastermind would love to call in the strike! What say you?
  20. Could you elaborate? Where does the "OP" register exactly?
  21. Power suggestion: (Anti Body) Description: "Your body excels at rapidly repairing wounds, but when that ability is threatened. Regeneration releases anti bodies to counter debilitating effects. " Buff: Recharge debuff protection. 25% while MoG is recharging. Buff: Perma Regeneration debuff protection. 95%. (We "one trick pony" like SR and regen is our business.) Buff: confuse, blind, fear immunity. Activation: passive Side note: This power doesn't step on the toes of other power sets, while staying true to regeneration ability. It would be a great addition to resilience power. Power Suggestion: (Oh No Way!!!) Description: "Your Regeneration allows you to recover from the most egregious of wounds. You use this knowledge to strike fear into your adversary as your wounds heal their most devastating attack instantly. Their fear gives you an adrenaline rush!" Ability: Reconstruction, and Instant Healing gain Mag 1 and 3 fear upon ability activation, after player recieves crit damage. You receive Victory rush buff. Minion level 10% end 5% end discount. Activation: special. Side note: I can't remember how powerful mag 3 fear is. It should be a great place to use the "orange rings" on those two powers. A taunt effect would be great if tank had regen option. Power suggestion: (I ain't done yet!) Description: "Just when they thought they had you. Your body rapidly repairs itself defying the odds." Activation: 0 Health Ability: "I ain't done yet" stacks twice. Each stack provides the player with a 15% max hp health spike when their health reaches zero. Side note: Wanted to make it a cool ability to replace taunt. Also something to protect us Regens from "late clicks" that activate after we go down. Two "get out of jail" chances. Each stack would be on a ridiculous timer so it couldn't get abused. It should have the "demonic aura" activation animation. That heart beat sound is so fitting! What are your thoughts? Over doing it, or a fresh pair of sails in the right direction?
  22. Haven't been able to login in a long time. Every time I do so, I'm met with the loading bar, then the loading screen. Loading screen sits for a bit, but never makes it to the point to enter in password/name. It shuts down, then hits me with the crash dump handler. I always choose to send, but no idea where to see the response to issue. Not sure what made it unplayable, but if it's a graphic card issue. My laptop has no available updates for it. What on earth is stopping my fun!?
