  1. So I was trying to find information on how best to slot Irradiated Ground at this point in the game. Are the -res procs useful here? Damage procs? Accuracy enhancement? The power in game states it has an accuracy of 1.00. Can the ticks actually miss?

  2. Just a quick question about this for my controller friends. Thinking about sticking this into Soul Storm on my scrapper via the Soul Master epic pool. The power itself states it is Mag 3 with a base recharge of 32 secs. So if I rely on global recharge only will this +2 mag hold go off pretty regularly and what does that really mean? +5 mag hold some of the time? Is +5 mag good enough for bosses? Just wondering! Thanks!

  3. Attained 53.8% Def to all positions with the intent of using Barrier to make up the other 5%, putting me at 58.8%. All attacks are hit capped vs +3 mobs (set Mids to 48 in config). Dark Consumption used as proc blast. Hasten less than a second off perma. Attack chain should be smooth with MG > SL > MB > Smite. Any suggestions? Touch of Fear is just there cause I did not have anything else I wanted... maybe Assault??

    Follow a priority system of MG > SL > Moonbeam > Proced out DC > Smite. Musculature Core Paragon, Degenerative Core Flawless, and Assault Core Embodiment. I will post the build below. It is my normal content build at 45% to all positions. The build definitely chases recharge and the only procced out attack is DC. I also did not saturate SD and only used the one stack off the pylon itself.

    Just looking for input. Goals were soft capped defenses (I feel if I am in incarnate content I am getting buffed out the butt anyways), at least 50% S/L res, and procs in powers that take advantage of em.

  6. Ok can't figure this out. Particle Shielding is now giving me a 890-ish shield when before I put any IOs in it was giving close to 1070. I had two lv 50 Heal IOs in it before and now I have Preventive Medicine IOs in there giving me about the same +absorb. Why would I get a massive decline in the shield when using a set over just IOs? Missing something obvious?

  7. Alright great points and real world experience (which is what I want the most)! I have made a few changes.

     

    Ground Zero now has 6 damage procs. This too many? Am I missing something more powerful? 

     

    Using Irradiated Ground with the two -res procs and one negative damage proc. I have the two piece Gladiator set bonus to max my fire res.

     

    Still have Gloom and Obliteration for now. Do you think these are a waste still and what would you swap them out with? I have Gloom to fill in a single target attack chain and Obliteration to fill in AoE damage periods. 

     

    Oh yea and my taunt is 4 slotted mostly for the set bonuses. Waste of time in the long run?

  8. Ok I took your advice and fit Ground Zero into the build. Had to dump Rad Smash and Sweep. I think my single target rotation will be ok with Contaminated, Gloom, and Devastating. How does this look? Tried to get S/L/M defense up without sacrificing too much. Do you think I will have issues with endurance or is particle, Gamma, Rad Healing enough to keep me floating high?   9. So I had a couple questions concerning Rad/Rad that I have not been able to find concise answers to.

     

    1: Does the +Absorb from Particle Shielding stack with other absorbs? Like from Preventative Medicine proc?

     

    2: What are considered the skippable powers in your opinion from either set? Ground Zero appears skippable from a solo standpoint but others have stated it is a great power for throwing Procs into? The build just seems very tight with everything.

     

    3: Mids does not seem to have an Accuracy number for Irradiated Ground as far as I can see but it accepts accuracy enhancements. What is the actual Accuracy of this power?

     

    4: How would you tweak this build. This character is a little of everything. Solo, TFs, etc.

  10. Inheritance

     

    Myself and a real life friend created this SG sometime last year to commemorate our return to this great game. We wanted a place to call home.

     

    The base is well organized with all amenities neatly packaged around the entrance in an organic way. Portals are well marked. Pillar, medical bay, and buff stations located close to the zone portals. Community storage room has multiple salvage racks, enhancement storage tables, and inspiration storage for all members to use.

     

    We have coalitions with several active SGs as well to help keep things active.

  11. If you were going to explain "Proc Monsters" to someone who was new to the concept and did not have the time to sift through 6+ pages of forum posts. How would you summarize the concept? What key points would you highlight? Just curious 😃

  13. Ok I have been tinkering on my SS/Fire brute for a bit now and have been getting some great advice! Think i found something that is expensive but I like how it looks on paper. Does this look ok for fire farming and messing around in random TFs and such? Am I missing something? Do I need the Kismet: Accuracy or am I ok on accuracy vs 54 mobs without it?

     

    The build offers 46.1% F/C Defense. It has 63.8% recharge, which I wish I could get more without sacrificing some diverse defenses since this is not only a fire farm toon. Can I prop that recharge with incarnates reliably? Many questions! Thanks guys!
