    I am the disappoint

    Nothing for the melee.

    NEED a Super Strength Scrapper

Maybe Super Human Strength - something that looks between Street Justice and Super Strength? Combo rage and lunges so it's more like a vampire, werewolf strength?

I agreed with your evaluation and your thoughts on Symphony control regarding Doms (you wrote that out in Discord)

On dominators the set is just sub-standard, especially if grinding it from lvl 1.

Plenty of insps and keeping it at +0 is the way to go

BUt on a controller... I also agree with everyone here.
On a controller Symphony control shines thanks to the secondaries available

    Trick Arrow
    Storm
    Traps
    Nature
    Just great

I remember trying not to repeat secondary sets on Controllers from one set to the next but yeah, Trick Arrow makes a lot of sense. I've just made Electric/ and Plant/ TA toons already and have lots of TA toons in other ATs. I love my Dark/Nature troller. So I guess it's Storm or Traps.

  3. ITF has a hard mode. Repeatable Cim incarnate content.

You now have song control and sonic is cool as a power set, even for doms now.

Lots of bug, text and costume fixes.

You can become any NPC you want, provided you grind for the new currency.

You can now see your weapons before you use a power on your toon.

Attacks from mobs now have clear two types (range/melee/aoe and fire/cold/energy, etc.) instead of 3 or more at times.

Toggles, even offensive ones, stay on when mezzed or when you form shift, but will just suppress until you've changed back to a human form or the mez ends.

Remember not having Toxic defense? Now you do. Remember that Psi-Hole in your armors? Not anymore.

    -You're welcome, Flea.

    It's not.

It has a wide yield but a loooooong animation time. Anything that hits a big area does poor damage. It may get looked at but don't count on it soon. I know my all fire dom used it as a proc mule because I had no other Melee AoE attacks (Hot feet counts as one but being a toggle doesn't proc as well as a click attack).

    * puts up salvage all at 111 inf because he doesn't really pay attention, knowing full well he could get better prices at a vendor

    Thank you for your service.

I know I list all my common and uncommon salvage at 1 inf each. Someone is currently cornering the market on uncommons so I'll do my part to try and keep the cost under 11k per.

  6. As I move from Indom fully to Excel, I've been holding on to a number of names just in case (Nice to have a back up plan if Server has to be closed). If you would like one of the following let me know:

The three it hurts to part with but I'm not using them -

    Akimbo

    After Image

    White Wolf

    Then the others -

    Crash Thunder

    Hellborne

    Mary Mayhem

    Nitress

    Marcus Queensberry

    Street Spectre

    Blind Feather

    Frontliner

    Steal Dragon

    Double Switch

    Bounty Star

    Nanolizard

    Moto Psycho

    Buster Crossfire

    Fateseer

    Frontlion

    Nuclear Dawn

    Speedround

    Neon Giant

Spirithawk (may have released this, will have to check)

Guy Jin (may have released this, will have to check)

Fightsong (may have released this, will have to check)

I'll add more here as I find them. I will not be releasing the names unless you message me directly. Feel free to check if something listed here is available as I may not have renamed a level 1 toon for everything I moved off Indom.

I'm keeping the Jolt-themed names (Jolt, Rejolt, Dr. Jolt, Joltaire, Revolt and others) at the very least.

  7. I haven't gotten a 6-player session going yet but I can see it being fun. I tend to download games, forget about them and play them a few weeks later. I played this the moment it downloaded and was through 4 levels before I knew it.

TMNT:SR is made by some of the Scott Pilgrim vs The World Developers (not Ubisoft, but the actual people who developed it) working for the creators (Dotemu) of Streets of Rage 4. I knew it would be a day one purchase.

  8. Electric/Energy Blaster. Power Boost is amazing but pairing it with Endurance Drains feels right at home to me (it was also my main on Live from 2005-2012). With the Electric Blast revamp it is that much better.

When I tried to make several versions of Elec and Nrg coming to HC from Live, I noticed many pairings use them well. An  Elec/Nrg Sentinel can use Alpha incarnate slot for rech, defense and endurance drain/recovery. That sentinel is one of my easiest to use characters in the game.

EDIT: Notices two weeks later this is a Scrapper question (/facepalm). Yes, an Elec/Nrg Scrapper would be just as easy to use, you just wouldn't have the best ST killing and no damage aura. Consider a Stun proc in Energy Drain to go with Lightning Clap (with a KD proc and +rech in it).

My favorite Fortunata has 4 powers from the Presence pool (Provoke, both Fears, Unstoppable). Provoke and Intimidate are single-slotted, but Invoke Panic has 5-slots (Glimpse of the Abyss), and Unrelenting 6 (Preventive Medicine)... If I could slot an additional %damage in Invoke Panic I would probably do so. I also have the %Terrorize ATO in Psychic Scream, so with all these powers taken by level 18, she tosses them as controls in quite a lot of low-level content.

At higher levels, I'm convinced that Invoke Panic is helping solo a lot of x8 content by slowing down opponents' offense, I don't tend to use them very often in PUGs or more extreme group play, but I did find myself using the fears (and Fortunata confuses) to help slow down certain spawns when my teammates got in over their heads.

As others wrote: Unrelenting is the gem of the set. I think it is tailor made for Fortunata, but I can see it working for other ATs as well. I'll use it even if she isn't taking damage, just for the 30 seconds of BUFF.

I'd feel a lot better about Intimidate if there were a Purple or PVP set for Fear. Finally, a use for my Endoplasm Hami-Os! Provoke is a nice idea, but the ToHit requirement and the small target cap get in the way of it being that useful, even when a teammate is in over their head. This just gets slotted for Accuracy, because I can't think of anything I'd rather do with it except hit.

Ok, you are the first person I've read (not saying others haven't done this) to use and like Unrelenting. What exactly does it do - why do you like it?

Why not do any of the other abundant content besides these if you are bored?  No one is forcing you into running TFs, Council Radios or farms.  There is quite a lot of content you can run other than these.  This sounds like a self inflicted problem.

It's hard to unplug your brain from the usual. I would suggest trying Praetorian missions through ouroboros as a change up.

My dark/bio scrapper, Skinless Scarlet, took Presence for the group fear. She's also my only hover-scrapper. Cuz a chick floatin up at you with no skin and dripping blood everywhere would be pretty damn horrifying.

Every time I have a toon with a fear I want to try Fold Space and the Melee AoE fear, but that's 6 powers for One Gimmick (even though Combat TP and FS are awesome). Did you find it worthwhile?

My dark/shield did it and it feels okish, not enough to respec but not so much my other toons think they're missing out.

City of Heroes is secretly a turn based strategy game. The OP might want to look into something similar, though I have no idea how many are Massively Multiplayer. There are no physics to worry about, and instead of real time combat, what we actually have is a rhythm game with various attack chain songs that can give Project Diva a run for it's money.

City of heroes is more or less Parasite Eve - you can freely move but everything is on timers and D10000 rolls internally.

EDIT - on DCUO - Everyone should download it and run around Metropolis and Gotham. They're great. Then after hitting level 30 from the launch content dump it. So a month? I destroyed a mouse doing the repetitive combos. I'd play it on a Switch (yes, it's there!) or PS4 but I just cant do MMOs on a controller.

RE-EDIT: Has anyone played Secret World since it did that awful revamp? I went to that for a year after CoH closed and loved everything but the combat.

It's going to depend a lot on the sets involved.

Gravity is probably the smoothest ride. Lift does extremely good damage for a Controller. Propel does decent, not outstanding, damage. I think level 2 Gravity Controllers may have the highest single target DPA of any character in that level range just because of how hard Lift hits with Containment.

Fire and Mind Controllers both have very fast casting single target holds that can be procced out for good damage in the ~250 DPA range.

Plant Control's Roots power does double the damage of the other AoE immobilizes. It's actually as good as a Defender's Explosive Blast, but with double the area of effect and half the recharge.  Carrion Creepers is a proc monster that delivers substantial damage.

Fire Control's Hot Feet does about the same damage of a free Fireball cast every 10 seconds.

Dark Control takes -ToHit sets, which makes all of the powers very procc'able.

On the secondary side, a few sets stand out for Damage. Kinetics, of course. Also Trick Arrow and Storm. More subtly, Nature provides a big +Damage boost. Cold Domination can proc out Infrigidate.

One trap to avoid: You probably want to skip the Controller single target blast available in most APPs. They are mostly not very good. If you need an additional single target blast, you're often better off taking the T1 immobilize power, which typically recharge in 4 seconds, and are available from level 1.

I know this is late posting but just echoing this - The DPA of say Energy Blast is less than most trollers ST  Immobilize. You even get more procs to choose from (Lethal, Hold and the regular ranged sets on top).

I made a Fire/Ninja recently because flaming swords are nice, but I'm not at all sure /Ninja is very useful. I'm especially wondering what's up with Shinobi since it shows as granting a damage bonus in the powers window but not in the abbreviated display.

Still looks good and I can live with being slightly less OP.

older version gave a minor damage bonus, but it was better out of a hidden state.  I believe you now have a chance for Lethal critical on all attacks.

  15. Things to keep in mind for your Elec/Nin:

    -- There are Electrical-Elemental Swords.

-- Your PBAoEs should work well together, but your PBAoE placate could be disrupted by Voltaic Sentinel.

-- Mu Mastery's Electric Fences would be amazing with this build and work well with Musculature Alpha.

  16. From pure looks, I love my DP/Nin blaster. It's been my favorite blaster on HC and I mained an elec/nrg blaster on live. I themed it as a Shadowrunner Adept as well (Dual Uzis and a Katana!).

I proc'd Choking Powder so It reliably holds boss long enough for to skip Suppressive Fire.

If you want to go Scorpion Shield and skip tough, the Blaster Sustain power for Nin takes Resist sets for the two defense uniques.

EDIT: Intuition Alpha is also great for it. Range for the cone attacks, -acc for blinding powder, -def for the pistol attacks and swords, hold for choking powder and damage. I tried not to lose my mind with procs in everything, but I did do it for the two main AOEs. You also do NOT have to slot DP for knockback to knockdown as that only comes into play when you use Lethal Rounds.

Petless Mastermind of course, his Pets even despise him, so they left.

I have an "All Whipchain" toon planned in a 2nd build for my Demons/Electric Affinity. Everything pretty much looks like a firechain.

    (Off to mids!)
