The folks running the game aren't in direct control of the physical servers. They lease them from a data center - and the data center folks are the ones that decided to move things at this time

And it literally just happened, GM fiddleback literally said "Just finding out ourselves, apparently."

From the Discord: @here We're aware that the manifest server is down right now. This is caused by maintenance at the datacenter that the manifest server is at. As the maintenance is just primarily moving the servers over to a separate PDU so we do not estimate that this maintenance will last very long. If the maintenance continues longer than expected then we will provide an alternative manifest URL. In the mean time we ask that you just be patient. Thanks!
