[Fatal error when opening launcher]

Seeing a similar issue, below are the last few lines of the launcher log

*Update - bizarrely I ran the updater for the Beta client and I was then able to update the 'live' client without issue.

Glad it's not just me..

Manifest download error for http://patch.savecoh.com/manifest.xml
The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable.

 

Not a local issue as the manifest server is down/not accessible.
