  1. Need to log the bug in-game, but ran a Posi 1 with a Storm Blast character.  Many of the mobs in the last mission (the outside AP city hall map) would not allow me to activate storm cell on most of the mobs.  Kept getting the error that the mob was out of range.  I do have Storm Cell bound to activate when i have a target selected.

    \bind 4 "powexec_location target Storm Cell"

Only map and situation where this has happened.  Ran Posi 2, Yin and some of Moonfire and have not had it happen again.

Plus you can sometimes get add-ins from the side, or front of steps groups. Can't they also follow you inside? I seem to recall having fights right inside the doors (or maybe that was when we yanked the inner mobs toward us, like the idiots we are).:-)

Maybe you are thinking about the 2 groups right inside the door.  One to left and one straight ahead.  I've never had any follow me inside, plus you can't go in until after the ambush is done.

If this is the case then I recommend double-checking that you have CoH Modder pointing to the correct CoH game directory install location. It's fairly common for folks to install the maps to the wrong place. I've confirmed on my end that the published version of Cimerora is up-to-date.

    BINGO!

Last time I updated I was using Tequila.  Now using the Homecoming Launcher, the file path is not the same.  Updated it, all working now!

Sea Witch (level 20ish red side) was a big jump in difficulty with my level 20 level locked brute project.  It wasn't anything I couldn't solve with purple inspirations, but I was trying to avoid using a specific inspiration set (and succeeding) until I ran into this big roadblock.  I think more than anything it was disheartening that I wasn't even coming close... She just crushed me.

That mission is tough with all the mobs and her.

What I used to try to do was lure her to the dock out in the water.  The extra Family there help whittle her down.

My main issue with the Gull is having to leave the interface and go back in for each setting.

Just kick me back to the main menu and add an option on the bottom to leave/exit the interface.

I just leave the window open and click null again...resets it to the main menu.

It's supposed to be one week in-game time or level 22 for DfB. Can't remember the level limit for DiB off the top of my head. Whatever timer it has is definitely in-game. I've had a character parked for most of a year that still has the to-hit buff from when I created her.

As for testing the duration, I couldn't say. I can't imagine that I've ever taken anywhere near 168 hours in-game to get to 22.

I think the DiB buffs last till 30.

    Hallu!

I looove the new stance system 🙂
It'd be great if you guys could find a way to make something similar for the different flight animations? Maybe even let us fly in the Mu pose? 😄 That'd be so sweet!

Sorry if someone already suggested this <.<

I don't remember what thread it was in, but I believe one of the Devs commented this couldn't be done.  I think it had to with how some powers react with flight animations.

I preordered CoH in 2004. I was so excited when it came out. I remember I was on training for a job in a city 400 km away when it came in the mail and those 4 days were tough waiting to go home. I preordered CoV and was online on launch day. I was so excited for GR, and even managed to be hyped for Freedom even though it smelled like the end was coming. The game shutting down in 2012 gutted me because my main was still the character I rolled when I first booted the game in '04. I had two children by then, but my main was older than them both. It's been nearly 20 years.

I was today years old when I learned this macro is a thing, I've been playing the game wrong this whole time.

I never used them on live, bust started using them on Homecoming.

I also use, the badge poplist macro and a release pets macro.

  9. I use target_custom_next for this (and many other find me mish)

    /macro TGT target_custom_next Dr. Calvin

It makes a power icon button to click...move around and cllick until it finds the target.

This can be used to find captives, certain enemies you want to take out first, etc.

Right click on the icon and it will give an option to edit it.  Change the name to whatever you are looking for.

  10. The hubby and i have been able to DUO all the TFs needed for the accolade.  The toughest one for us was Manticore because of the 2 AVs, with Countess Crey being the hardest because of her power set.  Yin was the easiest.

Helps to have stealth and recall/ATT as well.  The AVs take time to whittle down, but it can be done if you have enough damage or debuffs.

  11. Every 3rd veteran level through 99, you will receive a veteran badge and a number of Empyrean Merits. The number of Empyrean Merits starts at 20 and decreases by 5 after every 25 veteran levels. After veteran level 99, you will no longer receive Empyrean Merits as veteran rewards.

The full breakout for veteran reward Empyrean Merits is below:
    3 to 24: 20 Empyrean Merits ( 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24 = 160 Empyrean Merits)
    27 to 48: 15 Empyrean Merits (27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45, 48 = 120 Empyrean Merits)
    51 to 75: 10 Empyrean Merits (51, 54, 57, 60, 63, 66, 69, 72, 75 = 90 Empyrean Merits)
    78 to 99: 5 Empyrean Merits (78, 81, 84, 87, 90, 93, 96, 99 = 40 Empyrean Merits)
    ---------------------------
    total = 410 Empyrean Merits

Every veteran level through 11 that you do not receive Empyrean Merits, you will receive 120 Incarnate Threads. After veteran level 11, you will no longer receive Incarnate Threads as veteran rewards.

The full breakout for veteran reward Incarnate Threads is below:
    1 to 11: 120 Incarnate Threads ( 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 = 960 Incarnate Threads)
    ---------------------------
    total = 960 Incarnate Threads

In addition, every 15th veteran level through 90, you will receive a character respec and costume token. That is levels 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 for a total of 6 respec and free costume tokens.

I saw this answered in the patch notes for today thread.

If I recall, the solution was to move the entrance to somewhere else in the room. Exit the base, enter the base and that should have fixed it. They then stated that you can move the entrance back to where it was and it still stayed fixed.

This happened to me a while back, and moving the portal does fix it, although I never moved mine back to where it was.

    STO.

To me, in terms of timing abilities, cadence of play, etc. STO feels the closest to me when examining it at a meta-level for gameplay and when actually controlling the player and ships in-game.

    This.

After shutdown, anytime I wanted to try a new game, if I couldn't set up the controls like CoH, I usually didn't make it past the tutorial.  Star Trek Online, Champions, SWTOR and the original Secret World let me do that.   I stuck with Star Trek (lifetime sub) and Star Wars the longest.
