  1. Hey everyone,

     

    So I've been working at this over night with a friend. Installed catalyst drivers and updated. Got the C++ redistributable 2015 for that particular issue.

    The person I'm trying to help runs with a radeon amd HD 7450 - windows 8.1

    They're still getting the crash after ignoring the graphical error.

    I've been reading about people talking that - uninstalling tequila and the registry keys will help, as well as a full reinstall of the game but I think that's going a bit far. (still it's been done.)

     

    At a loss, is there anything that I could/should provide to get better insight to what is wrong?

    (Still reading through the forums but haven't seen an issue like this. Typically if you ignore the graphic warning, the game plays just fine.)

  3. Hey folks!


    So I've decided to try my hand at a controller again since the initial nerf on live for the pets. (Where Failureminds came out shortly after. - I can say this as I play them religiously.)


    Looking for proper advice and tips on creating a plant/rad class for ITF. I currently play a beasts/nature and I can honestly say, nature is just so lackluster for me. Rad has always been a strong point in my play style ever since fire/rad controllers. I've done rad/rad defenders and duoed up with a friend on +4 x2 from 1-50 (thank you debuffs!)

     

    Io's are a newer thing to me and I'm still learning but would greatly appreciate some tips, tricks, advice. I plan on this being my ITF char where my other will stay with the smaller groups.

     

    [edit: - I've been at it on and off all day and I'm not really sure what I'm looking for or whats needed. I'm not making a solo character, but I want the char to be useful for ITF settings. I know most of RAD wont be great until AV's and EB's but that's why I'm clinging to plants. (Also for RP based character.) - I'll toss up what I've found and figured out soon but if even anyone knows a good post as an example of one or the other powerset IO's please share!]

  4. So I've built something pretty much for myself and a friend. I have to admit decoration isn't my strong point but I'd like to think I'm getting better. Got a 'fae village' inspired one coming along soon but this I finished for a character of mine and a friend (Everlasting)

     

    Portal room is 'above earth, in it's own dimension' - magic based

    Rest of the base is fire temple inspired from Avatar The Last Air Bender (with a personal morning/fog dock over the lake)

  6. So I honestly have not played a melee class beyond a tank/brute since before i8. It's been a damn minute. What I wanted to put up here is - does anyone have a good guide or build to a katana/bio build? Anything anyone would suggest reading to better understand either or? I'm still getting caught up in everything that's changed so I've got so much reading to do still as far as this class goes vs home comings changes.
