Obnoxious Windows 10 versus "Who Will Die" taskforce mission

Hi,

 

given the task force mission to defend the obelisk and there is a button to be pressed to enter the adventure at the bottom of the screen.

 

Unlike all previous times, trying to press this button brings up the obnoxious invasive windows 10 taskbar, settings, environment and goodness knows what else. I can just about navigate around it, but this is the first time CoH hasn't "owned" its screen ie no interaction with the Windows 10 desktop "underneath".

 

Not sure if it's due to my own odious Windows 10 or a change in the game so I am letting you know. Also I don't know how to abandon the mission. The issues are so irritating I would like to quit the task force mission and go back to normal play.
