Sound issue

I have had a interesting issue where the games background sounds are fine.  The attack sounds of my characters  are not heard at all and some attack/power sounds of otjers characters can be heard.

I have revalidated the software, adjusted the audio modes in game but have had no success.  Has anyone encountered or corrected this issue.

same problem, any fixes.  My laptop runs it fine.
