Lag in AE Missions

Hey gang, I keep getting lag or freeze up all together in ae missions, I know it can't be my System, 64 gig ram/ i7 with Nvida gtx 750 ti with lastest drivers, with a 1 tbite drive, 4 gig video ram, running on win 10 64 bit, what else could it be? 100 mb cable.

I've noticed the same thing for the past couple of days, but for me it's not just been in AE — there's now mega-lag throughout the game in general. Thought at first it was my router/modem or isp as they've been known to have issues from time to time, but after multiple speed tests and no signs of signal degradation, I ruled that out. I'm on a Mac and play on Torchbearer exclusively. I've even noticed that just loading the manifest when launching Island Rum takes 4-5 seconds when it used to load near instantly just a couple of days prior. Wonder if anyone else is experiencing issues like this, or if it's just us two 🙂

Lol I hope we are not the only 2 lol. An I am On Torchbearer as well. Kagu is my Farmer, but i went out to the itf wall last night an like you it's getting to be everywhere in the game,

Been playing consistently for the last three weeks on a system with far smaller specs.  The occasional mapserve or connection drop happens, but it isn't frequent enough to be dissimilar to the game running on live.  But that isn't lag at all... lag means you're still logged in at least.

 

Not to say that I don't believe you.  Lag is a troubleshooting issue that could be a number of factors.  I do play on Everlasting, which is one difference to you two.  I'm also in the Central time zone, so that might be another.  I'm on DSL.  Sub-10MBps connection.  There's a third.
