HELP! HELP! MacOs Sierra and El Capitan broken :(

Hi, there

 

After last night's patch, the 'safe mode' option is no longer available on the Island Rum launcher.

Most (if not all) of players on  a 32 bit  Mac operating system can no longer play City of Heroes.

 

The message I get:

"The program cityofheries.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

 

PLEASE... PLEASE... PLEASE... Is there any way to fix this soon?

 

I'm not familiar with Wine, but am a software developer by trade. 

Is there anything I can do to help resolve this?

Homecoming is preparing to end support for Safe Mode.  It's suggested you make a Support ticket up above, and let the team know what Mac you have, what your operating system is, and any error messages you are getting.

 

If you want to use Safe Mode to play now, you'll need to use a different manifest.  You can find it in here.
