Praetorian and Primal Badges

For several badges, there is a special Praetorian version (Accumulation, Damage, Debt, Healing, Held, Inf, Level, Mentoring).

 

How do these interact with Primal badges?  Do they work similarly to the Hero/Villain badges, in that you keep old badges and also earn new equivalents?  In that case - since you can never go back to Loyalist/Resistance - do you have to earn all Praetorian badges before moving to Primal Earth?

You can access old Praetorian arcs through Ouroboros now, so you can earn all the Praetoria-specific badges now regardless of your starting point.

 

As for the achievements, I think they had different names for Praetorian characters, but it's the exact same badge just with a name (and maybe graphic?) change.  Like how a number of badges get renamed when switching alignments between hero and villain.
