I didn't know that you could start as a Praetorian, which would explain how there seems to be a lot of background story going on with some of these factions and groups that has been a bit of a mystery. But I'm glad I can 'join the story' in First Ward. Having finished the arcs here now, they were sublime, and I'm sure I'll meet some of these NPCs later.

 

When I roll a toon that starts in Praetoria, some of the earlier gaps will no doubt be filled in in the back story. For now, I'm happy for it to be a bit of mystery.
