Heroes and villains together

IIRC back in the day, heroes and villains could team up for specific things like the Christmas/Holiday missions. What other options are there for teaming or shared missions?

 

I'm not talking about hero or villain ATs -- I know I can create a "villain" AT like a Mastermind and then play as a hero. I mean my wife made an actual Rogue Isles villain and I have an actual Paragon City hero. Is there any way we can team up beyond just doing it in Pocket D?

It would be simplest if you went  Vigilante and she went Rogue - Vigilante can't start villain missions, Rogue can't start hero missions, but they can join missions on those sides if started by a party member.

There are also cooperative zones - Cimerora, Dark Astoria, Rikti War Zone - where heroes and villains can group. Incarnate trials are shared as well, I believe.

You can change your alignment at will in Pocket D. Just talk to the pigeon on top of that moving truck looking vehicle. You can go villain or hero anytime you want, and you dont lose progress badges or influence, and there is no limit as to how many times you can change.
