No veteran level rewards while in Ouroboros-mode Dark Astoria

As the title says, I was doing some of the Dark Astoria arcs in Ouroboros mode (I had already completed them in regular play), and noticed that gaining veteran levels was NOT granting me Incarnate Threads or Empyrian Merits whenever I hit 50 again.

 

I decided to stop Ouroboros-ing, and just did repeatable missions from Ephram Sha (so, still in Dark Astoria), and hitting 50 did give me the expected rewards.

 

I'm wondering if it's juts me or is happening to anyone else? And if it's not just me, just a heads up because you could be missing on those sweet, sweet Incarnate materials.
