A couple of thoughts

Apologies if either of these ideas have been hashed out already.

 

1. On the rare occasion that one might choose not to take an Epic pool set, allow for a 5th Power pool instead.

 

2. When a character reaches 50, allow to take any selection in a Power pool set without requiring others in the set be chosen first.
