The Getaways: Confidence Games - The 3 Card Monte Missions

The playing card themed criminal heirarchy the House of Suits has been taken down in an unsanctioned Interpol operation by Lead Agent Bonneteau and his associates.  Bonneteau has toppled this house of cards by assassinating the Kings of Suits, turning the Jacks of Suits, and taking the Queens of Suits (the Dames).  Enter this crazy game of find the ladies and uncover the plot behind Agent Bonneteau's actions.  Before being taken down by Interpol the House of Suits put out a distress call to a villain group called the Getaways.

 

Your guide through the Confidence games will be none other than the criminal mastermind and backer behind the Getaways villain group (Everlasting) the Accomplice.  Be a Getaway Man/Woman and become a player in the Confidence Games - The 3 Card Monte Missions!

The Getaways: Confidence Games - The 3 Card Monte Missions
Backstory:

The House of Suits is a playing card themed criminal underground.  In the years since their escape from Zigursky Penitentiary in the Arachnos prison break, the House of Suits payed their debts as Arachnos destined ones.  Arachnos was able to return the House to it’s former glory before this houses of cards toppled.  With their service complete they were given the keys to their kingdom and sent back to Europe to resume operations.

In Europe the House of Suits would establish it’s new era of organized crime.  However an unsactioned Interpol operation lead by Agent Bonneteau would once again topple the deck.  Bonneteau was able to target the Jacks of Suits (the working bosses of the House) and pick them off one by one.  Bonneteau was able to monitor and track all the activities of the House through the Jacks and when he had enough evidence he flipped them as informants offering them immunity from prosecution in exchange for the Kings and Queens of Suits.


Interpol would raid the House of Suits but only to find the House was tipped off and already escaped via a barge seeking sanctuary in the Rouge Isles under Arachnos’ umbrella.  Able to track the Jacks, Bonneteau pursued the vessel.  When he finally caught up to the House and stops their barge dead in the water he offered to reinstate the immunity deal with the Jacks if they killed the Kings of Suits.  The Jacks of each house (Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, and Spades) turn on their individual Kings and slayed them in cold blood.  Before their arrest the Queens were able to place a distress call out to their old friend and ally the Accomplice and his own team of criminals the Getaways.

 

With the arrest made in international waters and without warrant or approval from Interpol, Bonneteau was stranded in open waters unable to extradite the Queens of Suits.  Knowing the Queens call for help landed among listening ears of the not to far off Rogue Isles, Bonneteau had no choice but to abandon ship and find a place to hide out until he could cut through the bureaucratic red tape.  Afraid the Jacks of Suits would renege on their current deal, Bonneteau ordered half his task force take them to an Interpol office in the US to honor their immunity deal.

Part one: The Shill Game
Bonneteau and his remaining team would find refuge in an abandoned submarine station while he could finalize  his arrest.  To deal with the distress call that went out from aboard the ship, Bonneteau laid a trap.  He placed the Shill, a villainess puppeteer under his employment on the ship with her puppets disguised as the Queens of Suits (the Dames-Judith, Rachel, Pallas, and Argine).  The Shill is a deadly assassin, who wields an army of puppets loaded with poisons and neurotoxins strong enough to incapacitate the strongest of superheroes or in this case villains.

Part two: Turning Over Jacks  
The Jacks return to Paragon City, RI in the US to an Interpol Office in Khalisti Wharf where they await authorization in regards to their immunity deal.  Due to the legality of Bonneteau’s entire operation their immunity deal is placed on hold pending investigations and sparks the attention of Internal Affairs to account for the actions of one of their own leading unsanctioned off the book operations into and across foreign territories outside the boundaries of jurisdiction with a team of unidentified unknowns.  
Unknown to Interpol, the Accomplice and his criminal organization the Getaways have insiders planted within the Interpol ranks providing recon and intelligence into the entire situation.  These Insiders would be activated by the Accomplice to begin their protocols to obtain as much information from Interpol as they could before extraction.  With the Jacks in holding, hit orders would be placed to deal with their disloyalty.  With the element of surprise the Getaways would plan and launch an all out assault on the Interpol office with the intent to

1.) Recover their Inside man/woman with the entire Interpol database and file system.

2.) Complete the hit contracts placed on the Jacks of Suits

Part three: Finding the Ladies
Getaway analysts would comb through Interpol data, communications, investigations, and dossiers into Bonneteau and his operations.  The information would allow the Getaways to pinpoint Bonneteau’s current whereabouts in the abandoned submarine station and help the find the ladies.  During this recovery mission it will become apparent that Bonneteau’s plot is to return the Dames to Zigursky Penitentiary and that the crew he has assembled are crooked prison guards from within the Zig prison system.  While Bonneteau waits for transport that will never arrive (due to his burn notice from Interpol), the Getaways launch a rescue mission to recover the Dames and take down Bonneteau.

Part 4: Double or Nothing
The Getaways would access files created by Internal Affairs into Bonneteau’s entire operation.  Money transfers and sources of income would trace back to accounts held by the House of Suits.  These funds would be recognized as money extorted by a former house member Montague Cards III who during the House’s prison break by Arachnos was left to rot in prison for his acts of betrayal.  Arachnos would Blacklist him keeping him from their list of destined ones labeling him and the others left behind in the Zig as the undestined.  3 Card Monte would use his previously extorted House of Suit funds to bankroll his plot for revenge paying off Interpol agent Bonneteau, fellow Zig prisoners, prison guards, etc to deliver the Dames so he could dispose of them personally. 
The Accomplice would have these accounts and assets frozen and seized by Getaway hackers.  This action would cause the zig to go into chaos and cause riot to create the distraction need to send a team back into the Zig long enough to finish off 3 Card Monte once and for all.
