Sygris Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Hey after fighting a losing battle with altitis I have finaly got a toon to 50. Wasn't sure how to set it up in mids but all sets are attuned. I'd Like to get Perma hasten and then soft cap defences, not sure if thats possible tho. I'd like to keep Stealth in some form. Teleport other desired but optional. Primary and Secondary picks are fairly fixed, unless i'm missing a good skill or mule Skill. Pool/epics open to suggestions. Build is mostly for exemping. This Hero build was built using Mids Reborn 3.1.1.2https://github.com/LoadedCamel/MidsReborn Click this DataLink to open the build! Corythia Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 I am looking at this build and I think you are going to have serious end trouble. You didn't slot AM or for end mod, and shorted stamina. You didn't slot enervating field for end reduction. You don't have a miracle in health, but you will be running 5 toggles. It just seems to me that you will be able to have your powers up as often as you want them, but won't have then end to actually use them. I'm not a power gamer though so I'm not sure that what I'm seeing is what you will actually encounter.
Sygris Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 Its not to bad on end in fairness, altho i'm not using all the toggles at once unless there is enough end regen in the group to cover the use of the leaderships. for the most part an occasional blue candy is all i need in actual play. I'm not sure where now but i have seen mentioned that its not worth slotting AM for end.
LynxNordique Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 /Rad, is an AV and Giant Monster killer. In team, you should be Ok in terms of End, but barely, because Stamina is not sufficiently slotted. Solo, even without running Enervating field or Radiation Infection, you will constantly eat blues or rely a LOT on Ageless once 50+... Stamina is the easiest way to help solve end problems, by slotting it with 3 end mods. No set bonus or proc comes close to the efficiency of Stamina. You have great power choices but the slotting let you miss very interesting features. For example, a /rad controller can have perma Hasten, Accelerate metabolism and Indomitable will. The foundation of that is that those 3 powers need to have over 90% recharge reduction from enhancements before taking in account the Alpha slotting. Why take Weave after 40 if you can take Mind over body instead that is way better? Probably, you can sacrifice some slot in Radiation infection. 3 slots of Enzyme Exposure will bring close to the maximum efficiency of that power. It will be expensive and you won't have some fancy set bonus, but it will be worth it. Lingering radiation could also use another recharge and an accuracy. This is one of your most important power in the late game, so you want it as often as possible and you don't want it to miss as it is the reason why /rad is an AV killer. LR and the 2 rad toggles make the AV killable and its incoming damages bearable, even solo. You didn't take EMP. While it sacrifices your end recovery, it is still the best AoE hold of this game and an incredibly usefull "o sh**" button.
