Different textures, different same color

Relating to my other small request where I mentioned wanting the vest from Baron /w Vest to be a chest piece I could use with other jackets, I suppose a more expanded issue is what spawned that request to begin with.

 

I had a character using the Baron /w Vest top but the steam punk dress for the bottom, and although they were the same color, the colors didn't match and the textures didn't look right together so I had to change the dress. I toyed with changing the jacket instead, but the /w Vest was just too theme fitting and the jacket looked perfect.

 

And that's not a unique problem, there are lot of things that end up being the same "color" but.. not being the same color due to textures or whatever.

 

Is there anything we can do to fix this?
