Solo ITF Completion With Dark Melee/Shield Defense Scrapper

On my quest to learn more about this awesome game. Implementing progress check on select characters with a run versus the ITF Task Force, solo, and merely plain vanilla at 0/8. Using no other selectors, but sticking generally to the theme of no deaths, minimal usage of temp/P2W powers, and not playing with a full, maxed set of Incarnates. 


I have now completed the ITF Task Force solo with four different characters, across three different ATs (Tanker, Tanker, Sentinel, and Scrapper). This run was much more efficient than the previous runs, with the main contributing factor being a loss of some 10 minutes trying to account for all of the generals and their mob. I think it would be nifty to complete a solo ITF with all possible ATs, so I might give it a shot.

Synopsis of ITF: There were no instances of DDR crashing. Several Inspirations were used, as I wasn't using higher settings for running the Task Force. No email backup was used. No other characters or external PTW forces were used, save for the Kinetic Dampener, the Wedding Ring, and Amplifiers. The strategy used the following tactics: Bull-rush the targets, pop AOEs, focus-fire healers down first, then focus-fire the biggest baddie, with the AOEs in the attack cycles whittling down the other baddies by attrition. This worked even on the AV fights. Sometimes they actively fled and aggroed more mobs, so I dealt with them, too, via AoE attrition.


Lessons Learned: It's much easier when more Incarnate powers are added, and with them at max. Lore and Judgement would have made this much, much faster, as would having maxed out all of the other Incarnate powers. Also, keeping better track of required mob kills would help, as significant time is spent accounting for the necessary kills. The time would easily have been under an hour, were these variables resolved. Of course, still nowhere near ready to challenge at master level, as seven times through the ITF, total, hasn't quite given me the necessary reps to master it.
