DC Comics will add a new tier to their DC Universe Infinite digital comic book subscription service next week, called Ultra.  For an extra $40 per year, you'll get all published comic books one month after print instead of six months, an additional 5,000 comic books in the library, and one print comic book.  You can read more about it here.

Good news for fans who prefer to read comics digitally — and are willing to wait a few weeks to catch up with their favorite storylines: the streaming service DC Universe Infinite is launching a new subscription tier next week, both increasing the number of titles available to read and decreasing the wait between print release and DCUI debut. Get ready for DC Universe Infinite Ultra.

Under the new DC Universe Infinite Ultra plan — which launches October 10 — titles will be available on the streaming service just one month after comic store release, compared with the traditional six month gap. As of November, Ultra subscribers will also have access to more than 5,000 additional issues from Vertigo, DC Black Label, and collected editions departments, including 100 Bullets, American Vampire, and Sandman Presents: Dead Boy Detectives. As another benefit of the membership tier, subscribers on the Ultra level will also be eligible to receive one physical comic book for free, tied to their subscription, renewal, or upgrade date; the first edition available as part of that program will be an exclusive variant of The Death of Superman 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, featuring an Ivan Reis cover.
