Steam install (for Backbone play)

I have seen that there is an install for the Steam deck (or at least, a way to make it work on Steam deck).

 

Would this also work for the Backbone?

 

I believe all thr Backbone would need is for the game yo be seen as being installed on Steam?

 

Or am I under thinking it?

The Steam Deck uses Proton, which allows playing PC games. Your phone can't do that. The best you could do is to stream the game from a PC or laptop to your phone and play that way.
