Mutilus
My first attempt at a Warshade build. Has perma Hasten and Eclipse. Mostly meant for quick form changes and lots of AOE damage. The Knockback enhancements are place holders for the KB>KD from sudden acceleration. Anyone have any experience or suggestions on what I should change? Looking at possibly dropping some of the armors because I don't think they will matter much with the amount of form shifting I am doing, but might be nice in the event that I am main tanking a group. Eclipse being more than perma makes that pretty easy but at some point you have to do an initial engage. I expect this to be a bit of a project, as it will cost a ton, I am not worried about the cost, more about overall effectiveness and the best use of powers. This will make your TP tied to L Shift and L Mouse. allowing you to TP without clicking it or taking up VALUABLE space in your tray.(this will only work in human form, see later binds) /bind lshift+lclick "powexecname shadow step" This bind turns on Nova form and moves to power tray 9 which is where I put my nova powers. (all of my binds have put Hasten on auto cast. because my H bind requires me to set another power on Auto cast, and I dont want to forget to put it back to hasten so all of my other shapeshift binds do that.) /bind T "powexec_toggle_on Dark Nova$$goto_tray 9$$powexecauto Hasten" Like before with Nova but with Dwarf and tray 8, but also changes the first bind to work with Dwarf TP! /bind Y "powexec_toggle_on Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 8$$bind lshift+lclick powexecname black dwarf step$$powexecauto Hasten" This bind puts you into human form regardless of what form your in. also moves you back to tray 1, and changes back to Human TP bind. /bind G "powexec_toggleoff black dwarf$$powexec_toggleoff dark nova$$goto_tray 1$$bind lshift+lclick powexecname shadow step$$powexecauto Hasten" This is the BIG ONE! ready to cast both Mire's and do some REAL DPS. congratz here it is. Use this one wile in Dwarf it will que up Dwarf Mire, drop dwarf form and set Sunless Mire to autocast. This will result in all 3 happening at basically the same time and will be MUCH faster than activating them one at a time. The big downside is that Hasten will be removed from autocast as only 1 power can be set to autocast per bind which as you might have guessed all my other binds auto cast hasten to fix this issue. As with the rest this will reset to Human TP bind since you are entering human form. /bind H "powexecauto Sunless Mire$$powexecname Black Dwarf Mire$$powexectoggleoff Black Dwarf$$gototray 1$$bind lshift+lclick powexecname shadow step" This is take it or leave it. It is a simple bind any character can use to activate toggles. It will activate the next toggled off power in reverse order for example here it activates my 3 shields then , shadow cloak, combat jumping, maneuvers, and inky aspect. each use will activate 1 power that is not currently active but it smart chooses them for you. very easy to adapt for other characters (just change the power names) to not burn up mouse time hovering over the next toggle waiting for animations. /bind U "powexec_toggle_on inky aspect$$powexec_toggle_on maneuvers$$powexec_toggle_on combat jumping$$powexec_toggle_on shadow cloak$$powexec_toggle_on twilight shield$$powexec_toggle_on penumbral shield$$powexec_toggle_on gravity shield"
Dungeoness Eloora
That double Mire bind is pretty sweet! I'm not sure I ever trusted that the game could execute 2 powers in such quick succession, consistently in one bind, so I never tried it. Works well in preliminary tests. As for the build, have you made and played it yet, or is this just theoretical still? I'm still level 48 on my tri-form, but I've played a good month or so. I avoided as many of the human form shields as I could, as I saw no common occasion where I'd want to remain in human form and put a bunch of toggles on. Maybe someone that's done a lot more high level content can chime in on when any of these have earned their place in a constant form swap build. The only ones I've taken and used thus far are Shadow Cloak (obvious place for LotG, useful for stealth), Orbiting Death (totally personal choice, looks cool XD, actually an ok DoT for situations where you don't feel like swapping a bunch to lay down some DPS) and Nebulous Form (even more stealth, SJ when you want it, oh sh** button, another place to put KB protection, slow protection or stealth IO) I'd suggest you at least 5 slot Sunless Mire, as you did with the dwarf version, with Obliteration. Also I'd recommend 4 or 5 slotting the dwarf heal drain with Theft or Nictus, as there will be times when a meatier heal is welcome, especially if corpses aren't handy. It heals for more than Essence Drain does, and makes that power rather skippable, giving you the option to choose something else you might not have had room for. The 3rd slot in Hasten gives nominal recharge gain over 2 slots, and can be placed elsewhere. @dungeoness and @eloora on Excelsior <Federation of United Cosmic Knights>
Mutilus
Ya this was a first draft mostly, Started getting some of the cheaper sets going, and the Passive IOs. Starting to agree about the shields, doubt I will ever bother to turn them on. Recharge is hard because it is all late in sets. With having KB>KD sloted in the big AOEs makes slots really hard to come by. I have a second draft of the build I will post below. Also not sure if I should slot stealth or not as I can imagine times where I will be tanking. Friend informed me that the Theft of Essence set proc for +end is extremely strong in things like Mire's as the proc checks per target. when he uses it it is like suing Eclipse/consume because the proc rate is over 50% per target.
