Cortex and Find the Lab mission

In the final mission of "Find the Lab" of Act 1 of the Freakish Lab of Dr Vahz

 

If you click on the desk and certain other elements are still in action, like the Kraken.

 

The kraken beat the tar out of Cortex and while it didn't affect the mission much, after Cortex goes down, he gets his full health again and starts spamming "[11:05] [NPC] Cortex: Assist us! The lab is overrun!" twice a second.
