Player Note not updating after name change

It appears as though character name changes are not being updated on the player note.

 

I had a note on a player that included multiple "known local names". The player then changed one of the names. When I subsequently pulled up the player note for that player, the "known local names" had not changed to include the new toon name even though the player was currently on the renamed character. The old name still appeared in the player note. But /getglobalname for the old name returned nothing.

The player notes are a simple text file stored locally with the client.  They have no connection to the server, so they can’t be updated.  Take note, if you login to your account from another computer, your notes will not be there.
