Any way to drop a Tip/Exploration mission?

I got the Rikti War Zone mission for the Unabashed badge, which cannot be fulfilled without a successful Rikti Ship Raid which ..... I can't do by myself.  I also can't seem to abandon the mission, so now this thing is stuck in my open mission log forever or until I coordinate with 100 other players to complete the raid.  Annoying.

Yup, should be able to click on the tip itself and when the dialog box comes up, dismiss this contact.
